List of Daniel Warburton's Reviews
I have been passing large kidney stones at an average of 2 per month for around the last 2 years. I have physically presented this man several specimens and he has even performed two procedures on me. I would like to think most urologists would have sympathy for any patient passing any kidney stones the size and frequency of mine, but this man tends to downplay everything. For example, he never says the word "pain," but rather "slight discomfort." Trust me, anyone who passes even a small kidney stone will tell you that it's beyond painful, let alone when they average 5 millimeters. I've endured this process enough times to know when I am about to pass one. I also realize there's basically nothing that can be done about it. However, I feel it should be the doctor's responsibility to make things as easy as possible for the patient. That means refusing to prescribe pain relief for a patient who you know has this issue is downright unacceptable and borderline neglect.

However, I feel it should be the doctor's responsibility to make things as easy as possible for the patient. That means refusing to prescribe pain relief for a patient who you know has this issue is downright unacceptable and borderline neglect. After my procedures, he did prescribe tramadol, which triggers my migraines for whatever reason. Again, he refused to prescribe an alternative. He and his office staff have told me many times that he does not like to write prescriptions for controlled substances/narcotics, which is understandable I suppose, except tramadol IS exactly that (meaning everyone in that office literally lied to me). The tramadol not only did nothing to ease the pain of passing kidney stones, it added more to the problem with the migraines (completely counterproductive). Days before my last procedure, I was in a lot of pain, but he claimed there was nothing on the x-ray that he thought would cause such pain (basically calling me a liar). Exactly two days after my surgery, I would pass one of the biggest kidney stones I ever had - mind you the point of the surgery was to bust them into smaller pieces so they would be easier to pass. While I'm no doctor, I'm almost positive it was the cause of the pain I was experiencing before the procedure....the procedure I would have to deem unsuccessful considering the size of the stones I was still passing just days after. I do not know if he is this way with all of his patients or just me for some unknown reason, but I do know that nobody should ever have to go through the agony of passing these things with absolutely no pain relief, especially if they have a doctor who could 100% make things easier. I'm willing to bet I have passed 80% of all the stones without pain relief. Luckily, my primary physician is a bit more sympathetic, but I recognize I can't expect her to write me a prescription every time I'm about to pass one, especially when she referred me to a specialist. Unfortunately, I am in the midst of trying to find a new specialist - one who won't label my pain as "slight discomfort", imply that I'm overreacting or downright making things up and one who is willing to do whatever they can to make the excruciating process even a fraction easier.
Great Dr for kidney stones
I’ve seen Dr Warburton for a few months now. At first, it was prostitis, which he did help me with. But I also had severe testicular pain that persisted past my initial problem. He seemed mystified by this pain. He said it was tough to treat/diagnose. I was supposed to get an appointment with pain management, which, to me, sounded like them saying “you’ll have this forever.” Oh, I was also told that my nerves might be sending false pain signals to my brain. They put me on gabapentin for that. I decided to get a second opinion. On that visit, I was diagnosed on the first day. I gave them the same info Warburton had. I now have a name for the condition and meds for it. It’s a relief.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
