List of Kim Rashada's Reviews
After I had my daughter in 2022, Dr Rashada came in to stitch me up, and I was crying due to having a natural birth plus I could feel her sewing me up. This woman seriously yells at me and saya" why r u crying!?" " I am staying after my shift to stitch u up, so if you want to be stitched up then u need to be quiet" ! She was deff a rude b****
Felt I must leave this review This physician does not drink on or off her job The fact that someone could leave such an inflammatory comment is troubling The consequence of social media,I suppose Shame on you !!
Doctor manages Urgent and Emergency obstetrics and gynecology as a Hospitalist Excellent, competent and compassionate physician Can be direct Will be honest
I would give her 0 stars if I could. I went in to see if I was leaking amniotic fluid at 39w 5d and told the nurse that I did not want a cervical check for dilation, just a test for fluid. When Dr. Rashada came in, she asked if I expected her to use her x-ray vision since I was “so against interventions.” She proceeded to berate me for not coming in sooner but stated that per her exam, I was not leaking amniotic fluid. After finally sending my sample to the lab, we found out that I was leaking fluid and needed to be admitted but she never came in to give me the results or check me. The nurse apologized for her behavior and said that she is the worst doctor to work with because she makes all of her patients feel the way I did.
After my birth, my uterus decided to invert. This is a potentially life-threatening complication. It is also rare and does not happen often. The survival rate is 85%. When this happened my Nurse Midwife acted quickly and calmly. I knew something was happening, but had no clue the severity of it. When my midwife called a doctor in pronto, Dr. Rashada was there quickly. She went right to work and knew exactly what needed to be done without my midwife having to explain anything. As rare as this may be EVERYONE knew exactly what needed to be done. My midwife and Dr. Rashada saved my life that day.
If you want to have a positive and healthy delivery of your baby then DO NOT use Dr. Rashada. She delivered my son in 2011. I was induced to extremely high blood pressure and during my delivery Dr. Rashada was more intent on getting to her own child’s soccer game then delivering my child. Post delivery I became extremely I’ll and could barely walk. When I went back into her office several days later she found that she had left several gauze bundles inside of me that were growing bacteria. She blamed the attending nurses but I believe she was just in a hurry. I could have easily died from infection. Due to that infection I was placed on very high amounts of antibiotics and it hindered my ability to breastfeed or even take care of my baby during that critical bonding time. I have later gone on and had a child with another doctor and now know from experiencing a good doctor that Dr. Rashads was incompetent.
Dr Kim Rastafarian, was my GYN, for the many years that I lived in Florida. She was the Best! She was knowledgeable and Compassionate. She was an excellent Surgeon. I moved back to Maryland and It has been difficult to find another GYN Specialist, with the qualities of Dr Kim Rastafarian.
Treated me at Owenboro hospital. She was highly highly intoxicated and very very rude. Dangerous they allow her to work. I had to refuse service and leave. Sad I never did get treated and she makes me not want to return to hospital when it is time to deliver baby. She called me a liar over and over and then had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my baby she didn’t end with that she said well maybe you don’t want a baby with the man your having it with. This is a very sick woman and no doubt on drugs she nodded off the entire time she was speaking with me.
If I could rate a 0 I would. I’ve had 2 bad experiences with Dr.Rashada. The first time I was having contractions regularly at 33 weeks. I went into the OBED and she was the doctor on call. She proceeded to tell me that I waited too long to come to the hospital. I am a first time mom and just waited until they were less than 10 minutes apart lasting at least a minute. She asked me what I would’ve done if I had delivered at home, because I was pushing it, what makes me take such a big risk. They checked my cervix and I was only 1-2cm at 60% effaced so I was no where near delivery and she had the nerve to tell me that I am lucky. They gave me a steroid shot and kept me overnight for observation in the antepartum unit. The 2nd time was literally early this morning. I woke up around 1:00 having to go pee, and when I wipes there was blood on the toilet paper. I immediately call my boyfriend in there to show him. He gets the phone calls the OB and tells them that I just that, “she just woke up to pee, and when she wipes there was blood” it wasn’t a gushing amount it was just some spotting. They told us to go to the OBED to be evaluated and check on the baby it could be something with the placenta. We got there at 1:50am and wasn’t even checked until 3:30am! She didn’t check to see how dilated I was or anything. She literally took a light down there and goes well I don’t see no bleeding. I again told her I’m not bleeding consistently it’s just when I wiped. She then says I don’t see where it would be coming from, it’s not coming from your vagina so it must’ve been when you shaved. I told her I shaved 8:00pm when I got in the shower, I would’ve noticed the bleeding way before 1:00am and it wouldn’t last that long and then she told me I would be discharged because she don’t see anything and reminded us that the OBED is for emergencies only. It’s like she did not believe me whatsoever. I will never let her treat me again.
I would give her 0 stars if it were an option. She was the hospitalist in Owensboro when my husband and I went to the OB ED due to me having contractions. We were 35+5 so was not expecting it to be labor nor had I known what to feel/expect due to being induced my last pregnancy. This woman walked in and her demeanor was an instant turn off. She was horribly rude to both my husband and I, talking down to us, asking why I waited so long to come in, and was completely unprofessional. She could not have left that room sooner because I was not going to be treated by her. This "doctor" has 0 people skills, no compassion, and is on a power trip. While the other staff couldn't say anything on their opinions, we could tell they were not fond of this lady either based on their body language. If you go to the hospital and she is your doctor, I would absolutely ask for a different doctor before she steps foot in your room. She only made our already stressful situation more stressful and had zero care about my feelings/emotions, pain, concerns, etc. Poor poor excuse for a doctor. She has no right to be caring for people.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
