Great all around

Don’t know where I’d be without her! She really listens to me and the concerns I have about my health. I feel like I can talk to her about any concerns without feeling crazy. She is truly golden!!

Dr McCoy , in my opinion, is the best family dr in the Owensboro area. She has always been there for my family. She doesn't have that "God complex" like so many other dr's. She takes the time to know her patients and listens to their concerns. She also takes the time to explain things in a way that you understand. She has not once dismissed me or my concerns. Another thing we love about her is if she doesn't know what your issue is she will admit it. She has told me once "I'm not sure what this is but I promise I'll find someone who does." We've been with Dr McCoy for about 20 years and will be until we pass or she retires, which will be a very sad day for us.

I would recommend anyone to RUN from this evil doctor. Not only is she evil and probably bipolar but she over-medicates her patients and it may be about the only thing she's good at She truly does not care about her patients and it truly shows. Just rude, crude and cold. No manners at all and not very bright. I think she deep down despises the elderly. When this nasty dr was my grandmother's dr, she had her on high doses of medication. My grandmother fell one time because of the unneeded dosage of medicines she had her on. Also one time when my grandmother was in the hospital? 3 out of the 7 of my grandmother's children had words with her at different times because she didn't suggest a plan of recovery for her, other than to continue with high doses of medicine and even argued with them. The office staff are just as nasty. Somebody needs to take away her license. Thank GOD that my grandmother has a new doctor. My advice to anyone is RUUNNN from her.

Really takes the time to listen to your issues. Very knowledgeable and compassionate. Love her!!

The best around the whole staff are top shelf!

This doctor saw me in the hospital,even though she is not my doctor. Presumably, she was the on-call physician. The first question she asked was, “Are you still having problems with diarrhea?” I explained that mine was the opposite problem as I had not had a bowel movement in two days. She looks at me with a quizzical expression and repeated the question. I told her that was not me. She asked if I “wanted something.” I explained that I have a history of C-diff, and that I’ve been hospitalized six times in the last eight months. I declined the suppository. She then asks what’s my main complaint, and why I came in through the ER the day before. I explained why and gave her a synopsis of my medical history. She finally logged on to the computer to look at my test results. All she focused on was one issue, even though several others were involved. I understand this is someone who is “on-call’ for other physicians, but there’s no excuse for being unprepared and ill-informed.

I have been with Dr. McCoy for most of my life. She is (by far) the best physician I've ever had. She doesnt treat you like a number and takes all the time the patient needs to discuss his/her issue(s).

One of the Nurses is VERY Rude and Hateful (if you've been there, you will know which one I mean).. Desk staff is rude and unhelpful... I just stopped going to the Doctor about 8 years ago, because I have no confidence in them.
