Crestor was removed from my list of medications on discharge. Left message at nursing station to have doctor call me to discuss reason for removal. No reply. Continued to try to contact doctor. Was given office number. No one answered and no answering service! None of the other doctors associated with my care could explain why I was taken off Crestor. One month after being discharged I finally contacted medical records and was told that lab results obtained before discharge showed liver enzyme level was okay for resumption of Crestor. I was off the cholesterol medicine for a whole month when I should have been on it!
