Highly skilled with the best bed side manner you can get. Very good at what he does and lets you know what is going on. He is there before and after any procedure. I could not ask for anymore.

Dr Patton is very knowledgeable and so compassionate I can't say enough good about him. I can tell you I have trust issues with medical professionals, my father went to all my appointments until I was 45. Never had any problem with Dr Patton. I even followed him from Green Castle Indiana to Paducah Kentucky for my surgeries. He does not miss a beat, is up front and the most honestly caring doctor I have ever had.His staff is also very well informed and caring.Thank you for all you doLesLie Taylor

Before Dr. Patton went to Kentucky he was our surgeon for my gallbladder, and hiatal hernia, also Michael had appendicitis. He also had taken care of my mother before she passed. We were very sad to see him go, have not been able to find a surgeon as good as him since. Just wish he wasn't so far away or we would still be his patients.He is the best.

Dr. Patton is the best! I was fortunate to have him perform my cancer surgery several years ago. I would absolutely consider using the smaller facilities at Livingston in order to have him perform any future surgeries!

He give prescription when practice a surgery and then say that the patients stole it and that’s not right and very disrespectful and low from his part,he deserves to be fired.

Dr. Patton seems like he cares UNTIL he operates on you. Performed a very serious surgery on me that I have come to find out from previous tests (which he had been provided), that I should have NEVER had. Now that I am in a terrible state with all sorts of issues he won't even return a phone call. His nurse is always nice on the phone and says she will talk with him and she assures you one of them will call back but they NEVER do. Having to go to a university hospital to see if they can do anything surgically to give me some sort of life back because no gastro doctors around here will take the case because of #1 him, #2 he is only a general surgeon and #3 there was no gastro doctor involved in my care. Neither Patton or our family doctor was watching out for my welfare because this is evidently standardly know procedure in the medical community, My family doctor referred me to Dr. Patton and I was not under the care of a gasto doctor. That is the kiss of death in finding a gastro doctor to see you. If you are considering gastro surgery in a small town area, please insist that you have a consult and are under the care of a gastro doctor in case of complications. Sure wish I knew the lawyer on the review in which the lawsuit is pending because I would very much like to talk to the attorney.
