List of Norton Community Medical Associates - Shepherdsville's Reviews
Way to start the morning off with rude customer service. Happy Monday everyone else!
I highly recommend Norton community medical to anyone who needs a new physician.
I will never go back. They lied to me, had me drive 20 min to get there, and then lied again, making the entire trip and reasons I needed to see them totally pointless. Don't tell me you cant take my insurance just as I'm walking in the door, esp if I make the appointment a week ahead. It angers people.
I have been a patient for for 40 yrs they are the best
I tried to call and schedule an appointment for a wellness screening, and the receptionist was very rude. She wouldn't schedule the appointment and hung up on me. Very disrespectful.
My oldest son had been going here for a few years. At first I loved our doctor and all the staff. However he's now 9 and the care he receives has not been good to say the least. My 3 month old started going here and has had painful stomach trouble. Every answer we get is dismissive and are told it's no big de, but we watch him in pain, have trouble breathing, and choke constantly. We were told to switch his formula back to what he was on when I stopped feeding. At one point I asked for his shot records to get his social security card (we didn't get it and were told this is part of what we would need) the woman who does check out was extremely rude to me, maybe because she had to rush off of a person call to assist me, she told me they don't sign or certify records and tried to tell me the social security office couldn't have told me that cause they don't do it. I'm so disappointed in how things have gone of late in this office andy kids are switching to someone who can be polite and care about their health!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME SEEING DR. FAAS.... IVE COMPLAINED SEVERAL TIMES AND KEEP BEING SENT TO HER MAYBE BECAUSE SHE ALWAYS HAS AN OPEN SCHEDULE BECAUSE NO ONE WANTS TO SEE HER , WITH REASON , SHES IN THE WRONG FIELD OF WORK AND DOES NOT LISTEN AT ALL OR TAKE YOU SERIOUSLY NOR DOES SHE FOLLOW UP ON REFERRALS (3 MONTHS LATER) ..IM NOT WASTING MY TIME WITH THIS OFFICE ANYMORE - DR. ARLA WAS WAY BETTER !
I see Dr Ryle and have since I was 16. Very generous and compassionate doctor, knows his stuff and an all around awesome guy. The office can sometimes be difficult to get into, but not all the time. I can make same day appointments usually and the receptionists are always friendly.
I see Dr. Doyle as do my children. We are so glad she is back. She takes her time and is very understanding and takes your feelings into consideration.
I see Dr. Doyle as well as my son. We love her. My husband sees Dr. Fass because Dr. Doyle never has any openings for new adult patients. We’ve never had any major problems in the 4+ years we’ve been coming. The front office staff could be a little happier and act like they like to be there and working with people. I called today genuinely not knowing if the office was open. A person answered and sounded like she was half asleep and I asked if Dr. Doyle was in. The response was straight forward “no”. I asked if any doctor was in and she almost cut me off to say sternly “there are but there are no openings”. So I asked if I could make an appointment to see Dr. Doyle on Monday when she told me “you’ll have to call on Monday at 7am to see if you can come in” and wouldn’t even offer to see if there were any openings. Working in a medical practice myself, I found this to be not very patient friendly as we advise staff to always try to make an appointment before getting off the phone. The entire conversation lasted no more than 1 minute. If I didn’t love Dr. Doyle so much I would probably be looking for another place to go with friendlier office staff. They are the first impression after all.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
