Very unprofessional. I called the clinic in Brownsville, and they said I needed to go to the clinic in Smiths Grove for x-rays, blood work, and strep test— and then scheduled me an appointment there. Upon arriving, I spoke of my symptoms and was told that I only needed a flu and covid test. When I declined both tests and asked for the x-rays, blood work, and strep test, I was informed that they don’t have an x-ray technician today(which was no fault of their own, and is okay). Then they had a little conference right in the lobby about whether or not they could just test me for strep and not covid. Then I was asked very bluntly why I don’t want a covid test and then the lady acted snotty and judgmental towards me. Since it is my health, I felt as though it should be my decision whether or not to have certain tests done or not done— regardless of the controversy. Health care providers are in a position to help people, not be judgmental. I will never be returning to this clinic again.

Dr. Avula literally saved my life. Thanks to his knowledge, thoroughness and attention to what I was telling him Extraskeletal Myxoid Chondrosarcoma was discovered (soft tissue/muscle cancer). I am forever great full for all he did and does.
