This the best pulmonologist my mom has seen. Works with her and is on top of all her problems with having COPD. Can call and get results quick.
This is the 3rd sleep dr. I have seen. I love the staff and now Dr. comes to my town. Dr. will help you on any papers you need filled out. I really like him. Anytime I need anything the staff is ready to assist.
Very good doctor. pleasant, friendly. helped me to quit smoking for good. I sleep better now, breath easier. Still have to have my cpap but doing so much better.
I’ve found out that I had nodules on my lungs. Dr.Ahmed was very attentive in his office visit with me and he was awesome at the hospital for the biopsy. I had read other reviews on Dr.Ahmed and was a little leary but I’m ashamed of myself for being that way. Now we wait for the results and thank you again Dr.Ahmed.
Very impressed with him. Wonderful bedside manners, very experienced , I fully trust Dr. Mateem, thank you so much. Feeling comfortable is very important and that I was.
I think he was very kind, and listened to everything I had to say. Spent time that a patient needs with there Dr.. and the staff was very polite. I would recommend him to anyone.
I tried to call today to pay a bill. No answer several times. Then an automated response saying to enter your extension. There is no extension! AI didn't work. Could not get through. Last time I was there, the NP said, " you're wheezing up a storm ". I had gone there because I was having a hard time breathing. I didn't receive any kind of treatment while I was there. I was given prescriptions and sent out.Later, while waiting in the Kroger parking lot, I started wheezing much more. I couldn't find my albuterol in my purse. I became very anxious. When I called them, they were closed for lunch. I was able to find my albuterol inhaler and after using it, was doing much better. I felt that a competent pulmonary professional would have treated me with an inhaler and even given me some prednisone pills to take right away, not just given a prescription. My prescriptions were not called in ( they Later told me they had an emergency. I understand that, but I still believe I deserved to be treated also. I had to wait until the next day to pick up meds, after calling back and speaking to a very rude receptionist.I requested a new pulmonary doctor from my primary doctor immediately!!
I'm not sure if it's because I'm female with a quiet demeanor or if Dr. Ahmed treats all of his patients like they are fools. I'm an educated lady and do not appreciate a condescending attitude. He even discussed another patient on his cell phone in front of me and talked about me to an intern like I wasn't even there. My words were either dismissed or twisted, and I left the office feeling attacked (almost in tears). I felt like he was more interested in a paycheck than helping the sick.
Dr. Ahmed was very rude and unprofessional in my visit. I had all info and medical history transferred to his office and he couldn't be bothered find it. He went soley off the chart I filled when I arrived. Then proceeded to tell me that I did not have narcolepsy! I have been to many specialists and treated like a Guinnie pig for a good portion of my life(17yrs) before getting a diagnosis/medication that actually made life livable. He denied me my meds because he doesn't trust prev doc opinion

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
