Used to use this doctor office for knee issues. I’d recommend them to anyone before. Now you literally can’t get an appointment in the last 4 months I’ve called about 20 times. Each time waiting 30-45 minutes on hold just waiting for anyone to answer the phone to make an appointment without ever having anyone answer. You can’t get an appointment anymore. Already had horrible botched surgery by a doctor that was there that was prescribing himself multiple pain meds and doing surgeries high. They did nothing to fix anything for me after and treated it like it was my fault for their doctor destroying my knee.
They take good care of you and will help you with your needs
Best experience I have had for my shoulder pain. Fast, friendly and very good medical care. I highly recomend.
This is the 3rd orthopedics office I have used as I moved from state to state. By far the best experience of all 3. I would recommend it to anyone. Fast, efficient, and friendly. Happy to find them in KY.
I would not recommend anyone going to this place.I saw Dr Gure, was sent to have a CR Scan of my knee, was told by the Dr at the hospital , and the PA at this office and a Dr at a walk in clinic that I had a meniscus tear, When I went back to get the results of the scan, was told no surgery, I had degenerative disc disease, arthritis and a cyst on the back of my knee , he wanted me to go to PT for 3 days a week for 6 weeks .I ask him if the CT Scan didn’t show a meniscus tear? He was writing out the PT order, he raised up and looked at me , as if to say you don’t second guess me. When I started my PT, and gave them the order from the Dr, all it said was R knee, the PT ask if he had said anything about a meniscus tear, I told her he didn’t say either way, and told her what he said the CT scan showed, that’s all I knew . After 2 weeks of PT, it was not helping at all, the PT suggested I not continue and I should get a second opinion. I called a Dr. In Lexington, was told I needed to have my medical records sent to them, I had the release form emailed to me, filled it out and faxed it to this office.. kept waiting, called was told they did not receive the release form, had the confirmation # and everything that they did receive it, so sent it again.. waited and called back, was told they did not receive it, so I sent it by certified mail, that cost me $8.00. I called them back and ask if they had sent the records to Lexington, they tried to tell me again they didn’t receive the form.. I told her, I had in my hand the day, time and person who signed for it, well then she said she would get it faxed to Lexington, never did, so I called back and was told it was sent, I told her Lexington hadn’t got it.. so was told she would send them again, another time she didn’t send them.. They lied to me and I wasted 5 weeks fooling with them, had they sent them the very first time, my wait probably would not have been as long as it is now to see the new Dr..My advice is by pass this place and go somewhere else.
The staff at the front desk where awsome. They didn't keep me waiting for hours. The Dr was able to help me. I have not felt this good in a very long time. Every case is different. They have helped me two times and I have been very pleases with there service. I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU TO ALL THAT HELPED ME. 🙂
Went for an MRI. Everyone was helpful even w/ things not going as planned. I'll be back!
Amazing!! The office staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Dr. Rice answered all of questions and was very thorough. While a broken wrist is never good, the care we received was excellent!
DONT EVER Use this Place, as alot of you will know Gillian Leerentveld was my wife hurt her back badly the other day and had to go to hospital, the hospital referred us to kentucky orthopaedics and spine and i rang them first thing yesterday morning, they said the earliest they could get her in was today at 1pm and i said thankyou, we got there today at 12.30 and was told by a very rude woman that our appointment was yesterday and i said no we rang and booked yesterday and was told today as 1pm was the very earliest they could get her in, she continued to argue with me and then say oh well theres nothing we can do were too busy, at the point i told her and the staff what i thought of them and their business so Please No one ever consider taking a loved one to them, i checked their goggle reviews and guess what its bad a 3.0
If I could give any Dr/s a negative score, it would be from this team alone. Dr James Rice and his stooges. I had the MRI done through through your office. You said C-1 and C-2 were herniated. Bet it's more like 4, 5, 6, 7, same MRI, same xrays just real Dr's looking. Told me to hold off surgery because the surgery it would take to repair my hip is something preformed on people over the age of 60. If you had went more in depth about my hip, just maybe I could've had it seen by a real Dr that can read instead. I have to have alot done. Full hip replacement, femoral nail replaced, and not really sure where to start because both are in such bad shape. But all you seen was arthritis and carpel tunnel. Ms Erwin should remember me. The one sitting with neck and hip pain and you want to discuss carpel tunnel and I'm facing 3 surgeries. If you don't know something, don't pretend. I could've been well upon my way to recovery if you hadn't been such arrogant, uncaring, blind, uneducated a**holes. But no. A year passed,a whole year passed till the pain couldn't even be managed by the joke you send people to called Commonwealth pain and spine. My main concern unrepairable, and unreversable nerve damage. Now I get to endure a Myelogram just to see what your pathetic theorys help make worse. I mean somebody did stick a needle in my neck, going off your recommendation in your office. Who's not to say that you did or did not add to the freaking problem.Go ahead and try to delete. Promise I will turn it into 3 more reviews. People should know. I trusted each and everyone of you. James Rice, Brandon Embry, Sarah Erwin. Yes I know 2 of are only PAs. Well if your going by Rices direction, your in the wrong field. You 3 need to start out at a much lower level. That level that you treat patients. Lowest of low. Dr Grau is the only one I can't speak bad of. He's the only one that seemed concerned With my health and not just his wallet.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
