I saw Dr. Bishop about a growth on my back which turned out to be cancerous. I had a small spot on my nose and wrist also. Dr. Bishop surgically removed the skin cancer on my back and froze the other two places. He was very professional in all ways, carefully explained everything, gave me literature for information and took care of everything efficiently and professionally. I will return for checkups and as needed.

I have been a patient for apprx 15 yrs. NEVER have a seen such a downward spiral in a doctor's office since Dr Bishop, Sr.'s retirement! Most of the office staff could not care less about you - but are most eager to take your co-pay. Dr. Bishop Jr has entered endocrinology as well, which I think was a mistake - he was not experienced enough in dermatology to take on an additional field. He refuses to remove even a skin tag on a consult visit & makes you return - hence, two office call charges - and me an established by patient. He is reluctant to fully examine your body - I have yet to disrobe to have my whole body checked & I have miles all over me. When I first started seeing Dr Bishop, he was attentive, caring, and thorough. Clearly, he is just now out to make money, which is a shame because he had great potential. Maybe his father was the stabilizing influence, & once he left....

I have been a patient at that clinic for over 15 years, BUT NO MORE! I do not know what has happened to Dr Bishop since his father retired. Rude staff, especially Mike Bishop in the office & the receptionist is one step short if pure nastiness. Dr Bishop has changed, and NOT FOR THE BETTER. I had not needed to see him for a few years, but the clinic anymore stinks. He will not remove a spot at initial visit, but schedules you to return. I live 65 miles away and it costs me $40 a visit. He has yet to ask me to remove my clothing and given me a thorough exam. His father was excellent, and but the place has gone to He** in a handbag. I will not be returning, primarily due to his staff (whom I overheard talking about me!! Mike Bishop telling them how rude I was but conveniently excluded what he said to me. Talk about professional! But Dr Bishop's lackadaisical attitude also contributes to my decision. Sad, because I sent two other patients to him - he has now lost them also. Keep up the good work Dr B & you will not have a clinic left. Dermatology Associates is only 15 more minutes from you, & I can be assured of courteous staff and prompt treatment, without breaking the bank & running me up and down the interstate needlessly.
