Dr. Morrison is wonderful. He is extremely knowledgeable and treated me very well when I had to have surgery 2 years ago. This rating is for the office staff. They were rude then but I just let it go. However, today I tried to make an appointment for a pretty serious issue. The person who answered the phone was very rude. She demanded to know what the issue was, so I explained then she put me on hold and when she came back she said his first available appointment is a month out. I asked if there was anyone else in the practice who could see me, she said no. She didn't even attempt to look. I told her I could not wait that long and her response was "oh well, he's booking out further than that." I said I guess I'll have to try to find someone else and was asking if they had any recommendations and she cut me off mid-sentence and said "ok" and hung up on me. It's an absolute shame that such a good doctor is inaccessible to established patients because you can't get past the office staff.

I found him a little brusque, but he seemed clinically sound. Office wait, schedule time was all good. Had some snippy assistants. All in all, I will go to him again.

He smiled when he entered the room, read my iPad history, asked thoughtful questions, made good recommendations. I have already recommended him to a friend who is looking for a new GI doc.

He was rude and disrespectful to my 81 year old father who was in hospital with severe issues and a 20 year history of ulcerative colitis. He raised his voice at my dad in the hospital prior to procedure and disqualified the seriousness of my dad's condition.

What an amazing GI doctor! He truly saved my husband's life and even though Morrison's personality can come off dry sometimes, he is very intelligent when it comes to modern medicine. In fact, he is one of the best in Louisiana.

Called to make an appointment as a new patient. First red flag was the very unfriendly voice that answered the phone and then proceeded to tell me they don’t accept self-pay patients. Imagine, a doctor’s office that doesn’t take money!😏
