David L Dugger Md's Online Review Report Card

Front office staff is extremely rude when they are in the wrong Today 11/11/19..... Run in #2 with Jenelle the "office manager". Appt wasnt scheduled for this month because Dr. Dugger said December was fine... Now that isnt good enough and my kid has one dose of a NARCOTIC medication left and no reasonable time frame to get it. I have no issue with the doctor, but his office staff is knowledgeable, clearly untrained, and the most unprofessional I have come across. This is the second time in 2 months "Jenelle" has raised her voice and been rude when the issue is theirs. This time I am reporting to the state. I will not recommend them to anyone.

I do not understand the bad reviews left. Dugger and his staff are amazing. I have nothing negative to say about him or his office staff. Janelle is awesome with my kids. Dugger is also great with my kids. I've been through some behavioral specialists and Dugger is the best hands down.

Been coming here since my child was 5 and now he is 12. Dr. Dugger is a great doc, the kind I like, (no sugar coating) He reminds me of the way doctors should be, like when I was a kid. My son likes him... I gave him the option to switch as he got older, not because of anything the doctor did, just letting him know we can go to a doctor that can see you for medical reasons and prescribe his maintenance medicine all in one.. He said, NO! As far as his staff goes, we have been seeing Marie and Jenelle for that same time also, no complaints.. People forget about what others go through in their job, which is no different than anyone else and their jobs.. from the nurse who calls my son to the back for vitals, Dr. Duggar and the girls up in the front, I like them all, and think they do a great job... only complaint, I wish they could somehow notify all parents, maybe through a voice recording telephone call, like the schools do, to let us know about closings, etc.. We go every 6 months, so I don’t know when closings are going to happen until it’s too late... other than that, great job! 👏

talks entirely too fast. charges an arm but spends less than 15 mins with you. I messed up, life happened, emergencies happened and appointment forgotten so they dropped my son from the practice after 4 years. I feel they are absolutely NOT about helping the child. They still get paid regardless of whether we are there or not so they should be there for that child regardless ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR STILL GETTING THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR.

Dr dugger's staff is extremely rude and very disresptful . Janelle is the biggest offender .she talks to you with absolute zero regard that she is addressing a parent that is is in need for help for their children. They have absolutely no compassion for the patient. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone because we were treated so poorly, she even slammed the office door in my face after i told her she was being rude. He should definitely fire her. But he probably does't care as he is getting ready to retire.

Dr. Dugger is an awesome Doctor BUT sad to say his staff is not. He has these two very rude female receptionists, Marie and Janelle, that absolutley DONOT know how to talk to people or treat people! They both have very nasty attitudes and seem to continously get away with it. They like to get smart with ppl, and cut ppl off, and talk to u like your trash and slam the window in your face and also feel like they are "untouchable" and nothing can't happen to them. They need to be fired before someone seriously hurts them..

The staff here is ridiculously rude. Janelle likes to cut you off and interrupt you during conversations. Both her and Marie m shuts the window infront of patients to discuss personal inappropriate topics at work using profanity thinking patients can't hear them. They use their positions to treat ppl like garbage. My child's caseworker requested medical records back in September and didn't receive them until late October. My child was denied her benefits due to them not promtly faxing them over.

This office has the rudest office staff. They refused to work with insurance on a preauthorization medication that this doctor had been prescribing for my son for over 10 years. I had to change insurance companies but regardless of the years of service we had with them, they refused to cooperate with the insurance company and were very ugly to me, my husband and the folks from the insurance company. Janelle even hung up the phone on me. Obviously that tells me, the doctor doesn't care about his patient or what's best for his patients. His problem with the insurance policies should not be taken out on his patients. Run away from this office/doctor unless you want to pay them to treat you like dirt.

Janelle is very unprofessional and rude! Refused to work with insurance company on pre-authorization for child's medication. Very rude to everyone involved trying to get medication process done. Going to another Doctor. Avoid at all cost!!!!

Marie is rude. Never informs us when our insurance referrals expired until we arrive. WE have to call insurance to fax something right then or she threatens they won't see us, regardless of whether we have taken off of work. The final/last visit my husband asked her to talk to the insurance company bc he wasn't familiar with what she needed & she replied with a very rude look, "It ain't my insurance!" As an RN I was shocked bc I've never made a pt do my job. Spoiled Dr daughter & he doesn't care
