I take my Down Syndrome nephew to her and he just loves her. She really takes the time with her patients and is very thorough with her exam. Since Covid, he has had a virtual visit with her to refill his medication and she was really patient with me since this was my first time doing a video visit. I will definitely bring him back to see her, just wish she had stayed in Plaquemine.

Dr. Grimes is EXCELLENT!!! She is a great addition to the Plaquemine area. Not only is she very intelligent, but attentive and compassionate as well. I was overly impressed with her and her staff, and I look forward to a great doctor/patient relationship.

My son had fever and coughing and he went to her and they tested him for the flu and it was negative. She scheduled him for COVId-19 test that day in BR, it took a week to get the results. She gave him a prescription for Ibuprofen. The virus test was negative and she said to keep taking the Ibuprofen and if he was not better by the next Thursday to call her. Well she prescribed Amoxicillin and by Friday he could hardly breathe and he went to an emergency clinic. They x-rayed his chest and say that he had Pneumonia and sent him to the hospital. He probably had Bronchitis and by not getting the proper care and medication it went into Pneumonia. I would not take my dog to this so called doctor.
