Dr Mcwhorter gave me my voice back almost 10 year ago after going through 2 previous surgeries and no results.I now finding myself having a hard time finding doctors for other health disciplines because he has just set the bar so high for everything a doctor should be. Hands down the best doctor in my book.

Dr. Mcwhorter diagnosed me in one visit when other doctors took months, even years to finally refer me to him. He is compassionate and caring, not to mention one of the smartest, well trained doctors I have had experience with. He and his staff made me feel calm and reassured that I was in great hands and well cared for. Excellent bedside manner. He is my favorite doctor! (Except for my daughter, who is a doctor😀) I recommend him and his staff for any ENT or trachea problems.

I just cant say enough about Dr. Mcwhorter he is such a good doctor, very understanding and knows how to answer my questions he made me feel very asured throughout my surgery took good care of me from the beginning to the end a great doctor!!!!!

I am a private practice surgeon (and not from Baton Rouge) who was referred to Dr. McWhorter by TWO other specialists based upon his reputation and expertise. I traveled to see him and I am glad that I did. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and professional, as was everyone I met and/or spoke with. Evaluation was thorough and well-organized. Office is clean, bright, and inviting. I could not have been more impressed with him and his staff. I would feel totally comfortable sending my own patients and family to him. Highly recommended.

Dr Mc is the best doctor. He's kind.understanding and very smart. His bedside manner is fantastic and he was very calming for me when I was in the hospital for months. I'd highly recommend him to everyone. He's my favorite doctor.

He is an actual gem. His knowledge of his work is exceptional. I would refer Dr. McWhorter to anyone, anytime. He follows up after surgery until you are completely well. His equipment is stat of the art so he can determine anything that is wrong . I will forever respect and admire him. He will always be my Dr. God bless Doc. Diana Gandara

Not as knowledgeable, skilled or effective as previous reviewers claim. Very difficult to get appointment, long stretches in between appointments. Very disappointed with the quality of care that I received. Yet there was no care given only testing.
