The best 🏽
Best Doctor in Baton Rouge
Do your self a favor and don't go here for your health problems period.
Dr. Andriette Martin Fitch navigated my entire journey from pre-surgery on my spine through complete healing. She guided and cared for me all the way through even came to the hospital to check on me post surgery. Best CARE ever.
Above and beyond. Dr. Fitch followed through with me on my journey to have corrective Cervical Spine Surgery. She referred me to the best surgeon and pain management specialist. She really cares about you and does everything in her power to see you through COMPLETE healing. She educates you and gives you excellent followup.
I contacted Dr. Fitch's office on Monday to schedule an appt. Was told that she did not have anything available. Keep in mind that I am an established patient with Dr. Fitch and have been for years, along with my entire family, and I am rarely ever sick. I have a need to see the doctor a couple times a year only for wellness checks and prescription refills. Having been told that there were no availabilities, I went to the ER (and incurred a bill) on Monday and was told to follow up with my pcp in one to two days. I called Dr. Fitch's office on Wednesday to schedule the one to two day follow up appt and was unable to do so because again, there were no availabilities, and the receptionist was unwilling to work me in. The receptionist is the rudest person I've ever encountered and she actually hung up the phone in my face as I was trying to express my need to see the doctor. She has a very "nice nasty" attitude and is very abrasive in her tone. When I called back to ask her about hanging up on me, of course she denied it. I asked the rude abrasive receptionist, who lacks empathy, to transfer me to Ranada the Office Manager and instead she transferred me to the main office voicemail that she checks, so she could receive my grievance and I'm sure delete my message. I am very dissatisfied with how I've been treated and is currently looking for a new primary care physician. Although I feel that Dr. Fitch is a good doctor, she needs better staff who possesses interpersonal and professional skills along with empathy, sensitivity, and compassion for her patients. A little respect for the patients that help make it possible for her to even have a successful practice goes a long ways. I am very disappointed, disheartened, and saddened by the way I've been treated. It is imperative that Dr. Fitch employ caring, considerate, benevolent staff to assist her patients otherwise she will constantly lose them.
Dr.Fitch is the Best Doctor I have ever had and I have a few giving my medical history. She has so much compassion for her passions and she goes above and beyond to make sure her patients are satisfied before leaving her office. She will even remove bandages that’s has been on surgical incisions for a week plus!
I have been going to Dr. Fitch for many years. I would never go to anyone else. My daughter and I love Dr. Fitch. She is very knowledgeable and professional.
She told me that she ordered my prescription. The pharmacist told me that there was no prescription filled for me. I called the office and was told that it was ordered. Again, there was no prescription filled. Maybe I should see another physician.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
