If I could give 0 stars, I would. My wife was scheduled to have surgery the morning of December 20, 2021, with Dr. Collins. When we asked about the length of time for the procedure and recovery time, we did not get a straight answer. As of the night before, we had not received a call letting us know when to arrive. To make sure we did not miss her appointment, we arrived at 5:45 AM, only to find out we did not need to be there until 9. Inconvenient, but no big deal, until Dr. Collins told my wife she couldn’t do the surgery because she hadn’t had the requested physical. Isn’t it the job of the office staff to make sure all requirements are met prior to surgery? A simple phone call to remind us that a requirement was missing would have gone a long way, but then again, they couldn’t even call us to let us know what time to be there. They did, however, manage to call a couple days before letting us know she needed to see her cardiologist prior to surgery. Wouldn’t this have been a good time to mention the blood tests/physical were not done. Oh, and of course they called to let us know how much we needed to pay. It won’t happen again, because we’ll find another doctor to do the procedure.

The staff was rude and not friendly. The doctor never explained anything and barely answered my questions. When I expressed the things I was unhappy about, she refused to treat me. I would not recommend this doctor at all.

Dr Candice Collins was the BEST eye doctor I’ve had. I’m 61 years-old and correctly diagnosed a problem I’ve had since childhood. Now I no longer see double. She is also very personable and professional. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Collins took time with me on each of my visits leading up to and following my cataract surgeries answering any and all questions. Her surgical team was attentive and excellent. I experienced no complications and have almost 20/20 vision after surgery. I would recommend Dr. Collins to anyone and everyone.

Dr. Collins was rude, short sighted, and listened to nothing I had to say. I am now having to go see a different opthalmologist thanks to her refusal to treat my eye problems.
