So thankful for choosing this surgeon. After 4 years of neck / shoulder problems and being, for the most part, home bound and not able to walk or travel, words cannot express how wonderful it is to be mobile without any pain. Sure wish I would have decided to have surgery sooner and hope everyone that is looking for a good surgeon will consider Dr. Bowie and his professional staff.

Completely eliminated pain caused by slipped/bulging disc

I had ACDF surgery, c-4 through c-7, done on August 1st with Dr. Bowie. From being admitted until I left on August 2nd everything went as smooth as could be. The hospital was excellent. The hospital staff excellent. Dr. Bowie and his staff were excellent. Dr. Bowie and his operating team were the best. No complaints. Me and my wife were both taken care of. My nurses and team after the surgery were excellent. Any and all questions were answered from the staff. Everybody and everything was top notch at the Spine Hospital of Baton Rouge. After returning home Dr. Bowie's staff called and checked on me. His Pa. And staff were easy to contact and answered all questions. No issues with medications. Fast forward now to September 15th and I couldn't be happier with my doctor and his staff. No complaints on my procedure. As far as I'm concerned this is the best hospital and Doctor and staff you could ever get. They all deserve recognition for being such a great medical facility.

Hands Down, Dr. Bowie is the Best of all Medical Doctors I have ever met in my entire life. This Young Man is by far Great at what he does in every way possible. Trust Him and have not Worry is my Best Advice.

Had back,leg,and feet pain for over 25+ years 4 back surgeries with no pain relief until I met Dr Bowie . Woke up from surgery with no pain except for the incision site . Thank you sir . I’d recommend everyone to you . You and your staff was very professional

Dr. Bowie did an outstanding job with great results. If you are having neck problems he is the doctor to see.

I had two, back to back minimally invasive surgeries with him in 2021. He came highly recommended and I feel this was the worst mistake I could have ever made. Not only am I not better, I never felt any relief after either surgeries from the get go. He wanted to do a 3rd, but that would be a no go for me. I've worked with many neurosurgeons before, but his patient care skills are terrible. He's very dismissive and doesn't seem to care. You will see his nurse and PA more than you will ever see him. His office staff isn't any better. I had so many issues getting information lined up because I'm from out of town. Getting them to be on the same page was like pulling teeth. They were rude. I did more crying during my 14 week recovery due to mental frustration with him and his staff. I work in healthcare and this was by far my worst experience. Remember, your staff is a direct representation of you and your business. I give 3 stars because Nicole (RN) and Valerie (PA) were nice...

Highly skilled, kind, compassionate care. Best back surgeon. My husband went from being in total agony to living a full life again. Dr. Bowie is simply the best.

I would definitely recommend Dr Bowie. Did neck surgery September 20 and the best decision I made… I just thank God that everything worked out the way it did. And having Dr Bowie recommended to me was a God Send! Also the staff are Amazing as well!!

Dr. Bowie performed surgery on my lower back having to insert 2 rods and 8 screws to allow for less pain and greater mobility. The surgery was successful and I am now recovering. Although the recovery has taken quiet a while, it is progressing well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Bowie for anyone experiencing back issues. The Spine Hospital of Louisiana provided excellent, professional care. I would also highly recommend it.
