I love her, she treat her patience as if its her own kids.

BEWARE! My husband and I brought our newborn son to this doctors office that we regret on so many levels. Our newborn son was diagnosed with breastfeeding jaundice. We were released from the hospital into the care of our pediatrician that had to be seen within 48 hours. We also decided not to vaccinate because this was the best decision for our child. When she came in to see us after her staff checked us in she immediately questioned us on why we were not vaccinating him. We begin to explain that to her which I don’t feel we’re obligated to do. She RUDLEY cut us off in the mist of us stating why and begin voicing her reason why she opposes or disagreed. We felt attacked! She then left out the room and begin to negatively talk about us in the hallway to her colleagues. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. We wanted to walk out and leave at that point but had to set our anger aside so our baby can be checked out to make sure his bilirubin levels were in good standing. When coming back into the room she told us to go upstairs to get blood drawn. After doing so we were informed that we would receive a callback by close of business that day on the results. Close to 3pm we decided to call and follow up because we haven’t heard from the office on a status. We were told by I’m assuming her assistant that we needed to go and retest at another branch off Goodwood for more bloodwork to be withdrawn because something happened to where the results were not clear. We were not given an explanation as to why. By this time we became even more upset. If there was an issue why didn’t we get a call immediately following the problem with the bloodwork?! We rushed to Goodwood location to have more blood drawn and was assured we would get a callback from Charmaine if the levels were high. We received a call maybe an hour or so later from someone different and informed that his levels were around 22 which is very high and told us to get him to an emergency room ASAP! We took him to Our Lady of the Lake where he was taking care of very well might I add. The Pediatricians there showed great concern and had excellent bedside manor something that Charmaine lacked greatly! Charmaine didn’t even have the decent courtesy to call us and give us the results as we were told but had someone else to call because she knew it was her fault! As a Doctor and even more so a Pediatrician your not suppose to play behind people’s children. We could have been taking him to the hospital earlier that day to get treated and get his levels down if she would have been on her job! She need her license revoked! I’m not a person who normally complain to the point of writing a long review but felt it needed to be made known of our horrible experience. Don’t put your trust in this doctor to care for your kid. She didn’t give a damn about our child. If we weren’t proactive parents our baby could have been in a far worse state than what he was when we decided to take him to her office. We regret taking our precious baby boy to her; a bad experience and would give zero stars if that was an option. The sad part about it is that the staff was very nice, friendly and professional. We thought we hit the jackpot with this pediatrician office. I could tell they know she a B*^•h and I’m sure they complain about her amongst themselves but afraid to report her in fear of losing their jobs. So I would acknowledge it and make it know for them! This was our first visit and last. Don’t waste your time. Never again... Our honest & true experience
