I decided to give them a second chance. At check-in they asked me to pay my copay. So I asked if they were running behind today because I didn't have time to wait way past my appointment time. She called the nurse and they said they were running about 45 minutes behind, which I knew was a conservative estimate. Last time, I still had to wait a long time once they pulled me into the room, and the nurses were very unprofessional. They were talking about personal stuff to each other and basically ignoring me. I told them to remove me from the patient list and made it clear how ridiculous that wait time is. I will not be going back to Dr Fontenot and will make sure anyone I'm close to avoids this headache too. I have never had issues like this with Dr's at Ochsner, Cardiovascular Institute of the South, or any other facility.

Appointment on time, input from friendly staff an Dr. FONTENOT WAS INFORMATIVE , refills and appointments are easy to attain.

I am a fairly recent patient of Dr. Fontenot. He takes an appropriate of time explaining my situation and treatment options. He also gives me ample opportunity to ask questions. His assistants are excellent and helpful.

Dr Fontenot has taken care of my husband for years. He listens and takes time with his patients. Excellent Physician Nurses have always been very responsive to questions

Dr Fontenot has been my Cardeologist for several years. in the time I have been his patient I have had a heart attack and two set of Stints. Dr Fontenot has always been a straight shooter with me but is able to break it down in layman’s terms. I would and do recommend him to anyone in need of a Cardiologist. He also has a little bed side humor😜

Daniel is a no nonsense doc, which I like. He does not hesitate to ask for a consult, which I also like.

Dr Fontenot was friendly but I got there early and still had to wait over an hour and a half past my appointment time to have 3 minutes with the doctor just so he could tell me something like “let’s try cutting out this med for 3 months and see what happens”. There were only a handful of people in the waiting room so I know it wasn’t bc they were so busy. His evaluation was very generic and non personal. The front desk nurses were rude and seemed annoyed that I didn’t know which person to talk to bc there are 4 or 5 up there. I was recommended to Dr Fontenot by a physician who I do respect and who has helped me, but I think I’m better off treating myself than dealing with this lack of care.
