Excellent visit ! Great repore with me as a patient. Thoroughly explained my condition and treatment for it.
I had a visit today and everything went well from registration, being seen promptly, and checked by nurse before the doctor came in. He came in shortly after she checked my vitals, shook my hand and reviewed my chart with notes from his nurse. He went over my concerns and issues and was very thorough and professional. I felt like he was genuinely concerned about my well being. We spoke about the Covid pandemic and it’s effect on all of us. It was very interesting to learn how different age groups are effected differently. We spoke about our families, and we concluded with a handshake and he told me to call if I ever needed anything. I was truly impressed with my doctor visit. Didn’t feel rushed ! Thanks Dr. Garanski .
If you have epilepsy do not go to this doctor. Did not take my symptoms seriously and did not use adequate medications to manage my seizures. Had a seizure in the lobby and was not seen until about 20 minutes afterwards; nurses did not do anything to help me during the seizure other than try to put me into a wheelchair and bombard me with questions when I was not in a state to engage in conversation.
I like him very much, communicates very well, and he cares very much about his patients. You know he cares, and does his best for each of us.
Always listens, and helps me with symptoms, suggest therapy based on conditions at visit plus those he observes.
Very thorough and easy to talk to.
He takes time to answer every question and treats each one like it's so important. He is always attentive and caring. He is very down to business at first. I think that is misunderstood sometimes. He will not stop until you are getting the help you need. On the first visit I was not too sure about him, but after the second, loved him. I saw him for approximately 3 years. I was devastated when I had to see another. The new doc is great, but not the same.
I was referred by my primary care physician to see a neurologist at the neuromedical center. I took 1st appt available. Dr. Gawronski was first available. After running numerous test, I did not get an answer for my problem I went to him with. Another illness was found during test and he keyed on that diagonosis. When asked about my hands and feet he said I would have to go to my primary care physician. Long story short, went get 2nd opinion which I got better results.
I felt that he was not genuinely concerned with my problems. It also seemed as though my problems/concerns were not taken seriously with him. I had a couple of appointments with him and many times felt rushed out. I would ask questions about my issues and many times the answer was not sure or I don't know. While I appreciate the honesty and speaking the truth he was not interested in referring me to someone else that might be able to help me. It also takes about a month to get into see him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
