I had my wisdom teeth out by Dr. Barnett and he is awesome! First day was a little painful but woke up this morning and I feel great! No swelling, no pain, still eating soft foods but it was like I never got them out!

Horrible customer service so I can only imagine the service they provide..

Dr. Barnett and his staff were amazing. They went out of their way to make feel comfortable about getting my wisdom teeth out. I highly recommend this office for wisdom teeth removal.

I am 43 years old at the time of writing this. I got three wisdom teeth removed at once by Dr. Barnett. (Great guy!) All three were impacted, one was very close to a major nerve, and one was right in between the sinus and oral cavities. He was able to do a 3-D CAT scan and determine the best way to extract the one next to the nerve without damaging it. Also he reconstructed the wall between my sinus and oral cavities. I had the procedure done on a Wednesday and I had some pretty major pain on Sunday so I called his answering service to try to get in touch with Dr. Barnett. Within 10 minutes he called me back! He reassured me the pain was normal and told me that I could come in the next morning and they would check it out. Turned out to be a dry socket on the bottom so they treated that and prescribed me more pain meds. This helped tremendously. After a few more days it started to subside to a point that I didn't need the pain meds. I went back about 10 days later for him to do final inspection on the healing and everything looked good. I still have a little pain if I eat anything hard in my lower left jaw at the time or writing this. He told me that is normal and it will take about 3-4 months for the hole to fully fill in; just take it easy and eat soft foods for a while. I highly recommend Dr. Barnett.

Highly recommend. Great staff, service and location. 15yr daughter with wisdom tooth removal went off without hitch. Dr. Barnett was fantastic and called to check after the procedure. Will be our oral surgeon for any needs in the future.

I have been waiting over a month for a $39 check from Helen of Dr Barnett’s billing office. We looked up Dr Barnett and found that they were in-network with United Health Dental, and Blue Cross. So my wife/daughter get there and they insist that my wife pay the full $75 for the initial consultation. (If I had been there I would have not paid anything and just tell them to file, but, you know this practice will take advantage of people.) “But a consultation is covered 100% by United” I said, on the phone with Helen. “We haven’t been in network with United for 5 years” says Helen. “Blue Cross will not pay for a consultation for impacted wisdom teeth” I tell Helen. “Well, all oral surgeons here do it this way and that’s the way it is” says Helen. “We first file with Blue Cross, and after that processes, we file with United.” “But I want my $75 back, I don’t want to wait 30+ days for Blue Cross to reject it, and then for you (Helen) to file with United.” So I call up a few days later and say to Helen “forget it, we’ll find a different oral surgeon who is in-network with United.” I then call United and they say “get a receipt for the consultation and fill out an ADA claim form.” I did so, and got a check from United for $36, which is the agreed upon contracted amount for a consultation. So, i call/email Helen several times demanding my $75-$36=$39 check. I think she has called me back once since then, and I even emailed her the EOB statements from Blue Cross and United. It’s been 10+ days since then. After reading other reviews where people were bilked out of $$$$’s I don’t feel quite as much pain over $39, but, it’s the principle of this that bothers me. I am not done with this, believe me. We’ll start with social network sites (like Nextdoor) raising people’s awareness of the unethical billing practices by this office. Nextdoor is great because people in this area close to the doctors office will avoid them, based on our experiences. Perhaps multiple visits to the doctors office demanding payment. Perhaps a phone call and complaint to the appropriate state agency that handles insurance fraud. 10/24/18: Just a follow up ... I did receive a phone from Dr. Barnett several days ago, and he told me he would get the issue resolved and that we would receive our $39 check, which arrived today. I. can recommend Dr, Barnett because he listened to me and provided good care for my child. His billing office has issues but with persistence, problems can be resolved.

The doctor is great. However, the insurance lady Helen is horrible. She is rude and they do not know how to file claims. Aflac reimbursed me $445 for having work done there. They somehow managed to get the check sent to them and they took the money. Our out of pocket for the surgery was only $90. But somehow now, we only get reimbursed $129. I'm so mad. She is now screening her phone calls and will not call me back. I will never use them again and I will warn my dentist that recommended them to never recommend them again.
