Would not recommend. Attitude was very pushy. Knowledge was biased and outdated on many things. Highly punitive cancellation policy with no courtesy call for upcoming appointments. Often felt the objective was to sell meds at all costs with very limited concern for patient choice or a person's ability to function while taking them. Misinforms patients regarding medication risks. Relies on the patient to provide her with crucial details about specific dosages of which medications they are taking currently which ought to be written in the chart. Attitude often felt manipulative and disrespectful. General negligence when it came to diagnosis and overprescribing, even when wildly inappropriate. I wholeheartedly expect a snarky and dismissive response like the once written under Scott's post. However, it is important the consumer's voice be heard.

Reckless prescribing with the added bonus of medical coercion, misinformation of risks, and blatant disrespect.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. She seems nice at first, although kind of pushy. From there it went downhill. Instead of doing her job and telling me how I could better myself or how I could begin the process, she essentially just yelled at me. If you don't care about receiving professional care, then she is the one! My favorite quote from her was, "Sounds like a personal problem." How professional of an opinion from a psychiatrist.

Very caring! Dr. Fargason has always been very patient with my son. Her staff has always gone the extra mile to help us.

Since there is no way to post a reply to reviews, I am writing here to inform whoever may be reading the previous review, that I hope you catch the fact that it is a completely made up account of a fake encounter. I can’t imagine any psychiatrist yelling at a patient or telling a patient who is seeking help that it sounds like they’re having a personal problem. People like to cause problems when reviewing individuals - for all kinds of reasons - mostly personal. Thank you for reading with a discerning ear.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr Fargason has always been helpful and knowledgeable. She helped our entire family through a very rough time.
