December 26, 2023 was my first visit with Dr. Mena, and I am very excited to gain him as one of my physicians. Before checking my problem, he checked my meds and thoroughly view my medical history. I am very pleased with my visit. He also explained my condition in a way I could understand. I look forward in my future visits with him. I thank Dr. Jewel Crockett for her recommendation. Both are awesome physicians!

When I go to Dr Hector Mena office at Baton Clinic I always get professional good care everything explained to me concerning my health. So I always understand what's going on with me. Dr. Mena documentation concerning my health is excellent. That means my paper work can be read with alot of understanding. The Nurse is always friendly and has a beautiful personality. I enjoy going to Baton Clinic where you get Professional Care. Thank you Dr. Mena office and Nurse for your Professional Care.

I was completely disregarded with my comcerns of symptoms and felt chastised because I was not currently having a flare. No history was reviewed because he took one glance and said, “that’s just too much!” I was then told he sees people that “can’t walk,” and was very dismissive of my photo diary of facial flares and handed me a sheet to read on a positive ANA not meaning anything; my PCP referred me because an allergist had already ruled out any allergic reaction! He proceeded to order a complete ANA panel when I was reduced to tears. My results came back and the antibody profile was the determinant that I, in fact, have Systemic Lupus. To avoid seeing me again to review results and to potentially apologize for his disregard and positive findings, I was told to find another provider in the clinic that would address my problems to my satisfaction!!!
