It's so sad that you call this office they put you on hold for 5+ minutes twice. All I need is the date and time of my appointment. When I do see this doctor I'm going to make sure I never have to come back again. SAD!!!

He's supposed to be a specialist. After explaining my symptoms he offered no answer no testing only said my PCP is doing a great job treating my hypothyroidism. I agreed and asked why I cont to have problems with HYPERthyroidism even tho I have HYPO. He simply repeated his compliment of my PCP. If you need answers do not see him.

My first time there had to drive almost 2hrs to get there had to wait 2.5 months t get that appointment. Arrived 45 min early(my fault not their's) and still had to wait almost 3hrs before the Dr graced me with his presence. He was unprepared didnt look at my chart/labs before coming in and if I am completely honest didnt seem to be that knowledgeable about what to do about my thyroid condition. All in all 0stars if I could. Wont be going back he isn't worth it my NP did a more through exam

Dr. Gamboa is patient, kind and encouraging! He took time to answer my questions in a way I could understand. His encouraging approach is exactly what I need to successfully manage my diabetes. I left my visit full of hope to put in the work necessary. Also, the staff at the Gonzales location are super friendly and accomadating.

If you are post-menopausal and looking for an endo to balance/replace hormones, I would not recommend Dr. Gamboa. He apparently is unaware of the roles testosterone and progesterone play in bone health, support of thyroid functions and controlling inflammation - all verified by pub-med studies.

If you are a post-menopausal female seeing Dr. Gamboa for hormone balance/replacement, I would recommend looking for a different doctor. He believes estradiol is the only hormone needed for 50+ females. He apparently is unaware of the benefits of Progesterone and Testosterone for bone health, support of thyroid gland functions and support of healthy muscles, tendons and ligaments...all verified in pub-med studies.
