List of Jolene K. Johnson Md's Reviews
Dr. Johnson was wonderful. She took the time to discuss all of my questions and was not rushed at all. I always look forward to my visit with her.
Stellar
Dr. Johnson is a great doctor, but her office staff has been difficult to deal with. However, the staff is better, of late. Not easy to get an appointment with the doctor and there are times I dread contact with the staff. I hope they continue to improve.
Dr. Jolene Johnson is one of the most caring doctors I've ever visited. She made me feel very comfortable and took great effort to explain results to me. Her patient care manner is phenomenal.
Dr Johnson is a rare and hard to find kind of doctor she is very thorough and she will never give up until she finds an answer. I am so blessed to have found her.
Dr. Johnson has always provided me with great care. As a matter of fact 1 year ago she was concerned and sent me to see a cardiologist and probably saved my life. I had not seen her in a year. She understood my concerns right off.
This is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever met. Very rude. I would never suggest anyone to use her as their doctor! Very disrespectful!
I was referred to Dr. johnson by my EKL primary care doc for thyroid, high fasting glucose, etc. I explained my long list of symptoms and asked her to check my hormones. She was extremely rude and condescending, and refused to check my levels. She increased the dose of Synthroid, which hasn't relieved symptoms for the past 3 years. After almost a year of thinking I must be nuts, I saw Dr. Billy May, a private practice doctor, who diagnosed and treated my PREMATURE OVARIAN FAILURE! I wasnt a hypochondriac. I had almost no hormones, and that caused all of my symptoms. Dr. Johnson dropped the ball. She may be wonderful to her PAYING private practice patients, but she treats medicaid patients like we are ignorant and a bother. She is demeaning to the nurses as well- I may not pay her out of my own pocket, but she is PAID by my tax dollars! She needs to retire and let someone with people skills help those at EKL.
Have been going to Dr. Johnson for quite a while (years). I had my thyroid removed and just never felt "right". She is the third doctor that I have gone to for my thyroid condition. It took me a while to find one that I could relate to and that took the time to find out how I felt on the meds. So glad I found her.
I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for 9 years. I had my Thyroid surgically removed due to Graves disease. She has been willing to spend time with me, to listen to all of my concerns, given me wonderful feedback and has been willing to try different approaches to my condition. After a long time on Synthyroid and still not feeling 100%, she suggested adding T3 and it made all the difference in the world. She's hard to get an appointment with if you are a new patient, but I wouldn't change her for anything.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
