List of Larry Wedell Warner Jr. Md's Reviews
Dr. Warner was the first psychiatrist I saw for my mental health. I began seeing him in the beginning of 2017. At first he came across as concerned and wanting things in my best interest. I was diagnosed with Panic Disorder and he put me on Lexapro. My clinical anxiety symptoms eased with consistent medication and counseling. However, I started to feel numb emotionally and the sexual side effects of Lexapro became a problem in my relationship. In 2019, I started to tell a difference in Dr. Warner and how he treated me during our appointments. It felt as though he was rushing me and he seemed more irritable. I brought my concerns to Dr. Warner about the side effects of Lexapro but he was quickly dismissive and said "Well your anxiety is gone, isn't it? It's working." I tried to reiterate that I would like to try another medication for my mental health, and I clearly remember Dr. Warner telling me that "sometimes good doctors don't listen to their patients." I have never gone back since.
Dr. Warner is very honest and realistic about care of mental health issues. He is very down to earth and easy to talk to. He encourages patients to seek therapy if needed to ensure they are doing all they can to improve their mental health. His staff is very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a competent, caring psychiatrist.
Dr. Warner’s office staff is completely well trained and kind. He is also kind and shows great interest in his patients. He is business-like as a Psychiatrist should be. I did TMS treatment at his office and actually enjoyed going everyday.
This dr made me believe he cared. Then, after telling me “I NEEDED this medication”, he became a different person. He no longer seemed to care about talking, just refilling meds. Every other month, my appointment was cancelled and reset for the following month. Out of the year I was under his “care”, I saw him 6 times. Most, but not all, of his staff were rude and condescending. I don’t need his stupid medicine or his “help”. SHAME ON YOU. Signed, still devastated and back to square one.
Complete multi-page intake form hand delivered to the office. Weeks later called back and was told that the file was "missing." When called back again was told file was found and it would be reviewed. When called back again was told that the file was "torn up" because it said wanted genetic testing and they don't see people "just to do the testing." Explained that the testing was just one reason why Dr. Warner was selected. Was told I could start all over again and fill out another application and get back in line. When I expressed my disbelief the person in the office hung up on me. Called back and the office refused to answer. Perhaps staff was having a bad day (week, month, year) but this person has no empathy for people who are suffering.
I think Dr. Warner is a great doctor. He takes his time and explains things to you! He is doing a great job counseling me.
Dr. Warner is a great doctor. I will recommend him to all of my family and friends. He’s personable, professional and thorough.
I am a very sensitive person with social anxieties. I get nervous trying to communicate with people I am not yet comfortable with. I felt as though that was an annoyance to him. I never felt that he truly understood what I was saying to him. As if he had an idea already in his head and he was going to go with that and not try to understand what I was attempting to communicate. He made me feel like he knew more about how I felt than I did. He is, however very knowledgeable when it comes to meds.
He is great! I felt like I had no hope coming to this office but my mind definitely changed!
He is very professional yet down to earth. Has common sense and a great sense of humor along with compassion. I generally don't like psychiatrists but I really like and trust him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
