I started seeing her when my baby became a patient of hers while he was still in my belly. She has been very informative & caring at each appointment. She even surprised us by checking on him & giving us his MRI results before he was discharged! Her office staff is also helpful & nice. She's located in Baton Rouge.

Dr. Lori McBride saved our daughters life after she had 4 mini strokes, Dr. McBride diagnosed our daughter with MoyaMoya and we spent 3 months in the hospital she did brain surgery on our daughter and could not promise us how much of her would return. Our daughter is 99.999% back to the way she was before she had the strokes. My wife and I could never thank Dr. McBride enough. We are so thankful she was at New Orleans Childrens Hospital.

My nephew has craniosynostosis and was scheduled for surgery. The first surgery was rescheduled for a week later. We got to the hospital, the baby was put under sedation, poked and proded. AFTER he was put under this doc said to cancel the surgery YET AGAIN, because the blood work was not completed. You would think that a so called doctor would check to make sure everything was ready to go before putting a 10 month old child under sedation!!! The thing about craniosynostosis is that the sooner it is done, the better the chances that the child will not have any problems down the road. I can only assume that she will not or cannot pay attention to detail!!!! NOT someone I would want cutting into my child's skull!!!!!!!!!!!!

She totally didnt figure out what was wrong with my son. I went to Atlanta to get treated and my sone is doing great.

She is a very caring doctor and she made us feel at ease with her ability to talk to our daughter. Mcbride always shown concern for her. The incision on my daughters head was so unnoticed that it was hard to believe she had surgery on her brain.
