Most detailed exam I’ve had in quite awhile

Baton Rouge Clinic has an excellent group of physicians. Maureen Jones is one of the best. Great care, attention to all the details. I highly recommend this group and Dr. Jones. They have been providing my care for many years.

I have been seeing Dr. Jones for a few years now. She is extremely thorough in her evaluation of my medical concerns, and is very professional. I trust her immensely.

I recently tested positive for Covid and Dr Jones saw me via video appointment. She prescribed paxlovid and a cough medicine and was thorough in her assessment.

UPDATE, January 2024: I don’t know how a physician and staff could possibly be better, in EVERY POSSIBLE WAY! I could write a book. I’m so grateful for the care I’m getting. The review below was written five years ago. I’m a new patient in terrific health so I don’t need much, but I’m really liking my experience so far. The staff is OUTSTANDING! I’ve had some physicians in the past that I liked a lot but none of them have had staffs anywhere near as good as Dr Jones’s staff. As I write this I just got off the phone asking them to move all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy. The last time I talked to them was a month ago, yet the young woman on the phone remembered that conversation! If you call them and they have to call you back they do it very quickly and if they miss you they’ll keep at it. I’ve had other doctors’ staffs be very hard to reach. They’re very cordial and never rush me. As for Dr Jones, she is very direct and doesn’t mince words. I like that, and find it to be refreshing. She also listens and doesn’t rush me. She ordered some routine blood work and I didn’t have to make an appointment to get it done, I just showed up when it was convenient for me. The testing lab is huge but I was in and out inside of 30 minutes. My new health insurance policy assigned me to Dr Jones. I’d been with another doctor for 20 years. That doctor stopped taking my insurance. I was upset at first at having to switch but now I am so glad I did!

I’m a long-standing patient. I’m also a communications professional so we’ll start there. When I call the office I get a very quick call back. Dr. Jones AND HER STAFF are very caring. As busy as they are, they listen. I feel heard and respected. The care is tremendous! I’m in overall great health but as we age our needs increase. Dr. Jones and staff are there with me every step of the way. I’m very fortunate to have her as my doctor.

She is my new PCP, very helpful willing to listen and professional. I’m super excited to see what years to come holds for us. She’s amazing!

I’ve been going to Dr. Jones for years and couldn’t think of going to another Internal doctor. She really cares about her patients and always answers all my questions. She’s the best and so is her nurse, Carla
