Went here with my husband last week. Multiple issues, when we arrived and walked in the door no one greeted us at all. The office is dry, everyone’ look as they do t want to be there. One of the front desk girl with the tattoo was on her phone. We was not greeted. The office lack friendliness it makes you don’t want to return. Dr. Shaw attitude needs a adjustment because it’s horrible. Her attitude is belittling and I’m not sure if it’s because of her profession. She needs to realize she’s human and stop with the insulting faces and remarks. I’m not sure why she’s still there, after all the reviews she should be gone by now. I am a physician myself & I love to smile and be welcoming to my patients!!! Please don’t go this office it’s not friendly at all. the office is a cemetery DEAD! Not much diversity in the office as well. I love to walk in a office and see more than one skin color. It’s time for some change & some new faces & new management.

Terrible experience. Completely messed up my prescription: reduced my nearsightedness and added for progressives. Had prescription filled as written. Couldn’t see at all. Terrible “bedside manor.” Felt like the whole thing was more about selling than medical care. Updating (8/2022) to add that it is unethical, unprofessional, and inappropriate to share details of customer/patients record or services online as a rebuttal to a poor review.

Love the staff at Southern Eye Centers! They fit me in last week for what could have become an emergency and took care of the problem. Regularly I purchase my contacts here and Dr. Shaw is extremely professional.

My boyfriend made an appointment here and was told it would be 3 weeks before he could be seen as a new patient. He showed up for his scheduled appointment today and apparently baffled the incompetent woman at the front desk. She told us “oh ummm an appointment? Today? Someone should have called you.. uhhh… our doctor isn’t here.” My boyfriend took off work for this appointment and no one seemed to care at all about his inconvenience. MAJOR lack of customer service or care here. My boyfriend made an appointment at another, much more professional office. Thanks for saving us the trouble by screwing up his appointment today!

The staff is Unprofessional and racist. I received my glasses, But they didn’t give me a prescription or any paperwork.

2021 - their web site displays the old address (7587 Jefferson Hwy) they have moved to 6859 Jefferson Hwy. They are very good, it's worth driving around to find them (LOL) because you will see things much better afterwards.

I have been going to Southern Eye Center since 2015 everyone from the front desk 𝑎𝑛𝑑 back are so kind and I can't say enough about Dr.Shaw I was late for my appointment and she came back just for me I felt so special 😊😊 everyone is so kind.

I very excited with my new eye glasses!!!! They were very friendly and professional.Specical thanks to Krystal who help me pick out my glasses.I love them😍👀👓.

I made an appointment here after I was screwed over by another place. The receptionist was very pleasant and extremely helpful. The day of my appointment when I came in she made me feel l had been a customer there for years. The tech was very friendly as well. I saw Dr. Adam and he was amazing... he changed my rx a tad which no one had done for years and WOW, I couldn't believe me eyes(Get it 😃?). Anyway I DID read previous reviews about past visits but I didn't experience anything of the sort. It was a very pleasant experience and I am most definitely pleased. I've already scheduled an appointment for my spouse and have recommended them to others!
