Amazing doctor! Always answers all questions and is very thorough. She sees both of my girls and always goes above and beyond to accommodate. Her nurses Jennifer and Kristen are also amazing and always there to help!

It was years ago. Dr. Bankston used to be our pediatrician and we had very tough times when my son was a baby. He used to get sick so many times every year. One day, he was sick again and we visited Dr. Bankston. She gave us some prescription and we went to home. At same night my son got worse, he was having breathing problems and we had to go to emergency room. They got my son into ICU for three days. Dr. Bankston visited us in the emergency at the first night. That was kind a not understanding the situation and we end up in the ICU. We asked numerous times for the allergy tests but there has been always a reason to not have full diagnostic for the allergies. His blood tested only for most common couple of things. Once, I asked to Dr. about giving cow milk to babies at night. I asked her that I heard it on YouTube that was advised to not give cow milk at night and she said yes that is correct but I have been reporting that I was feeding the baby with cow milk at nights and she did not warn me until I specifically asked for it. The worst part is we figured out that my son is allergic to milk when he tested by another doctor (allergy doctor) when we move out another city. Probably that is why he was getting sick so frequently. Long story short, if you do not have problem everything is so nice but if there is something that requires close attention, it can easily be missed. Just want to warn parents to be cautious.

I have used Dr. Bankston for both of my children. She is a fabulous doctor, we love her. She is the best ! She's the reason I use the Baton Rouge clinic.

Dr. Susan Bankston is absolutely great! She is very knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely caring. She is always nice, friendly, and very understanding. She explains everything, and talks and interacts with the children. She goes above and beyond as a doctor and makes each visit easy. Our family loves her!

Dr. Bankston took great care of my sweet girl, Maddie. She assured I left with no worries and made sure I knew she was available if a concern should arise during the weekend. The nurses and phlebotomists that gave my daughter’s IV fluids deserve a shout out as well- they went above and beyond. We appreciate you all. Thanks again Dr. Bankston & Nurse Jenn.

We absolutely love Dr. Bankston! Her and her nurses are always so friendly and attentive. As a first time mom I have tons of questions and they always answer with a smile. They are prompt in getting back to me and I never feel silly for asking any question. Dr. Bankston is so knowledgeable and personable, we feel blessed to have her as our doctor!

My daughter went for her first visit with Dr. Bankston and she is still talking about her visit. The staff was very nice and Dr. Bankston took her time with us and addressed all of my concerns that I had as a parent. It was important to find a pediatrician who was nurturing and caring. Dr. Bankston is a wonderful pediatrician!
