I've been a patient of Dr. Stuckey for about 5 years. Dr. Stuckey saw me for 15 minutes for a follow-up. He nor his staff apologized that I had to wait 2 hours and 40 minutes to see him for 15 minutes, and I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment. It's disrespectful to the patient's time - my time is as valuable as his. I doubt that he got lost in his new facility as it's a very plain, grey, and logical design.

I could see better before the cataract surgery the eyeglass prescription given to me after surgery was filled bad I cannot see out of the prescription after surgery I am using my old eyeglasses to see not happy with surgery results or eyeglass RX

My husband and I both see Dr. Stuckey. He is thorough and knowledgeable. He takes his time with you. Does not rush in and out. He is let us know everything going into surgery and what to expect post-surgery.

My husband and I both had surgery with Dr. Stuckey and we absolutely love him. He was very thorough and explained everything to us in detail. Everything from what to expect before and after surgery, post op instructions, recovery time and what our vision would be like after surgery was discussed. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends b/c I honestly believe he is extremely knowledgable and the best we have in Baton Rouge, especially with all the up to date technology he uses.

Dr. Stuckey performed eye surgery on me and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. He was very professional and it showed that he cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Stuckey to anyone. He has been my eye doctor for 5 years. I drive 45 minutes across the city just to be under his care.

Brought my son in to see Dr. Stuckey because he was having trouble seeing the board at school. Dr. Stuckey and his staff showed a true concern for my son's condition. After a thorough exam Dr. Stuckey gave us a detailed explanation as well what to expect going forward.

It was a wonderful experience and he took his time with me explaining everything I asked about.

I took my daughter to Dr. Stuckey because she complained about her eyes getting tired and we noticed she rubbed her eyes often, sometimes showing red eyes and her eyes become watery.  We wanted to take her to her regular doctor, but his schedule was booked for a couple of months, so we found Dr. Stuckey.  I regretted my decision to bring her here the minute we met Dr. Stuckey.  He was not friendly, no enthusiasm answering our questions, and we felt rushed.  A few weeks later, we received a bill for his service.  He billed under a "routine visit" which caused my insurance to deny the claim because they didn't cover routine visit.  I called my insurance and explained the situation, they agreed the doctor should've changed the code and resubmit the claim under medical (not routine) because it sounded like my daughter may have some eye conditions based on the symptoms I mentioned above.  But the doctor's office refused to change the code because they said there was nothing wrong with my daughter eyes, she just needed glasses.  I've never heard this excuse before and even my insurance found this weird.  I tried to speak to the doctor, but he never returned my call.  My insurance even tried to help me explain the situation to the billing person, but she was so rude and refused to talk to the agent.  It should be a fraud billing services under whatever codes they want just to collect more money!  Do yourself a favor, AVOID this doctor and save yourself some headaches!  He doesn't care about his patients and he will cheat to get your money!  Google this doctor and you will see how others had bad experience with this doctor.

Dr. Stuckey did my lasik and everything about the experience was AMAZING! The staff was absolutely great and Dr. Stuckey went the extra mile to explain everything to me. His knowledge about eye health was what set him a part from the rest.

I ended up having to have surgery and his staff was very prompt about getting me in quickly and made me feel comfortable. I had a very good overall experience.
