List of Thomas Carlyle Stuckey Iii Md's Reviews
I contacted this office to make an appointment with Dr. Stuckey after being referred from my retired ophthalmologist's office. I explained when I called that I was in serious need of contact lenses and down to my last few pairs, but the receptionist said they couldn't get me in for 5 weeks. I took the appointment and said I would call back to see if there were any cancellations with hopes to getting in earlier due to my need for contacts. I did call back and again, no earlier appointments, but reiterated that I hoped I could make my 1 pair of contacts last another week. Today was my appointment. The office was very nice, and the staff was friendly. As I'm explaining my reasons for my visit to the eye technician, she informs me that Dr. Stuckey does NOT do contact lens prescriptions and I would have to see another Dr. in their practice at another time. I was completely defeated and shocked. I just wanted to share in case anyone else schedules with him and is in a bind for lenses. I should've been notified of this when making the appointment and expressing my specific need!
I chose to go to Dr Stuckey because he did my husband's catarac surgery. Little did I know that I would be charged a fee of $200 dollars just to walk in the door. It wouldn't of been so bad if they would have let me know when I scheduled the appointment. Instead, I was surprised when the bill came in. Not nice!
Amazing Doctor, very professional
I've been a patient of Dr. Stuckey for about 5 years. Dr. Stuckey saw me for 15 minutes for a follow-up. He nor his staff apologized that I had to wait 2 hours and 40 minutes to see him for 15 minutes, and I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment. It's disrespectful to the patient's time - my time is as valuable as his. I doubt that he got lost in his new facility as it's a very plain, grey, and logical design.
GREAT doctor. Very welcoming and certainly cares for his patients. Quite possibly the best eye doctor I’ve ever visited.
I could see better before the cataract surgery the eyeglass prescription given to me after surgery was filled bad I cannot see out of the prescription after surgery I am using my old eyeglasses to see not happy with surgery results or eyeglass RX
I recently had LASIK with Dr. Stuckey and it was a life changing experience. He made sure to take the time to explain everything to me during all of my appointments. He also kept me calm during the procedure and explained each step. I would recommend him to any of my friends and family.
I had surgery performed by Dr. Stuckey and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. He explained everything I needed to know before and after surgery in depth so I knew how to take care of my eyes. I highly recommend Dr. Stuckey. It definitely shows that he cares about his patients.
My 10 year old son was struck in the eye & Dr Stuckey was the psycian on call. That was 10 days ago. Dr stuckey has gone above & beyond what we ever expected! In my worried state of mind he was calming, with a side of concern. He even met us at his office on a Sunday because he didn't want my son going a whole weekend without an exam! I will recommend him to anyone & will never see another eye doctor again!!
I highly recommend Dr. Stuckey!!! Wait time in the waiting room is usually around 10 maybe 15 minutes max. I have been under Dr. Stuckey's care for at least 12 years now and have received nothing but the BEST care possible. From Cataract Surgery to monitoring and treating my Glaucoma in addition to monitoring the after effects of a Detached Retina. He is the best and I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else! I give him the highest rating possible!!! 5 Stars to Infinity!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
