IMO Dr Vatsavayi is the best! I highly recommend Dr Vatsavayi. Whether my appointment is at the clinic or on Telehealth, he is attentive, patient, and informative. Every time I discuss any new concerns or have questions, he listens and addresses them without making me feel belittled or inferior as some doctors have.He readily greets my husband and welcomes him to join in my appointments as well as listens to concerns or feedback from him. Dr Vatsavayi has always been informative regarding my symptoms, triggers, and how to be mindful of them, as well as provides needed information and guidance on my medications. I’ve had several psychiatrists throughout my life, changing either due to insurance, moves, or feeling uncomfortable with them. I’ve been a patient of Dr Vatsavayi’s for 9 years and wouldn’t want to change. His staff is always friendly and personable, making the entire experience feel more like a short visit with friends than a doctor’s appointment.

Dr. Vatsavayi Is Terrific Dr. Vatsavayi is always courteous and thoughtful, and he remembers significant details about my circumstances. His clinical judgment is unmatched, and he is an expert in my care. Furthermore, Dr. Vatsavayi’s staff is always kind and responsive.

Knowledgeable about meds Dr. V listens to you and works along with you to get the mental health results you want and need. His staff got me in for a same day appt., after I had just had my routine 3-mo appt about a week prior. I needed his help to make changes to current meds, since some things had gotten better, there were still a lot of areas of my life I was really struggling with. His staff is the best… very friendly and helpful.

Do not schedule appt with Dr. V. at end of day I did not have a good experience with Dr. Vatsavayi at a Tuesday, 4:30 PM appt. I was experiencing extreme stress after quitting stressful job. Notes were sloppy, he promised an accommodation letter (to work remotely) would be posted in MyChart the following Monday, and it was not. Alprazolam he prescribed gave me horrible recurring nightmare that I could not wake from. He increased sertraline to 200 mg (which is maximum dose and not recommended). Previously I was seeing him once every 6 months. Lesson learned: I will not see him at end of day. Will give him another chance because finding good psychiatrists in BR excruciatingly difficult.
