Dr Massengale was humble years ago. I’m sure having more than one location has its pressures. It’s not the same. It feels like I better hurry up and get out so they can see the next patient. I had to find a new dermatologist.

Was happy for years with Dr Massengale. I found him to be quite arrogant recently. He is good with those extractions using the Q-Tips.

I followed up with Dr Massengale after seeing numerous specialist and several hospitalizations. My bar was low. If I wasn’t going to get help at least I didn’t want to drive a 100 miles. I can’t remember Dr Massengale taking any cultures. At this point of my condition I had yet to have a punch biopsy or an aspiration. Dr Massengale did prescribe topical medication. He may be the nicest man in the world. Each visit he want me to attend religious counseling. I probably could have used the counseling but it was not going to treat my condition. We relocated and I left Dr Massengale’s care. Within days I was diagnosed with MRSA, wound cultures were taken. All resistant to any medication I had been taking. The first culture involved about 50 brown Qtips. Staphylococcal and Streptococcal. I do believe Dr Massengale could have done that. At this point, numerous Dr’s south of I 10 had seen me. I had never had a punch biopsy, a blister aspiration or other invasive procedure. Refer me.

Dr Massengale is awesome! He listens and it very informative. The staff at Atlas is also amazing! Jada was so wonderful in helping me get my (sometimes difficult) insurance in order.

I brought my son to Dr M last year to get his warts removed (we tried over the counter wart removers for a year). He had to freeze the warts off of my son's fingers. He made my son so comfortable with the visit. It was painful but he didn't cry. Dr. M had him laughing the entire time. Great dermatologist and very personable. I have never visited with him for myself but I know for sure that he is great with kids. I just wish we would have seen him sooner. Highly recommended!!
