Very professional compassionate and understanding

Dr. Angela Buonagura botched my surgery, I had to go into surgery #2 less than 20 minutes after coming out of my 1st surgery. I was bleeding out. They had to give me 2 pints of blood. It was supposed to be a simple surgery. Then after the 2nd surgery, I had to go in for hernia surgery, her stitches did not hold.

I cannot say enough about her professionalism, but moreover how personable this doctor is. I had to have a major surgery before Christmas and she explained step by step how she was going to do what needed to be done. She took her time to make sure my wife and I had all of our questions asked and answered. When the surgery came, everything came off very well. Anytime a doctors office I visited, including my dentist, asked who was to do my surgery I was always told "she's the best!" When you are speaking with Dr. Buonagura you know that she genuinely cares about you. I recommend her with the highest regard.

Dr. Buonagura recently removed my husband's gallbladder, and I'm so grateful she was the surgeon on call the day we finally found out what was causing all of his pain. We both felt very comfortable with him under her care after the first visit. She suspected gallstones, though none showed up on the two CT's he had. Thankfully, she did a scan during surgery and found multiple gallstone that needed to be removed from his bile ducts. Now he is on the mend and doing great. I highly recommend this Dr

Simply a remarkable physician in every sense! I was admitted through the ER with a perforated appendix, which was septic. Dr. Buonagura handled my surgery, and provided daily follow up that was awesome! Her communication style is wonderful, her empathy with patients and their families is outstanding. Very highly recommend Dr. Buonagura, and plan to have her perform some of the follow up procedures that I will need in the near future.

For 7 years I was sick and getting sicker. I had given up all hope of finding answers. Every test had been done, even a hidascan and nothing was found. Finally my sweet doctor sent me to "Dr. B". She listened to every word I said very carefully, felt of my abdomen and scheduled the surgery. My gal bladder was dead and calcified when she removed it. I am now out of pain and living life again. I love this woman. She's more than a doctor. She's an angel. I guess that's why they named her Angela.

Total hysterectomy in 2013 & experienced twinges of pain sometime afterwards. By '17 I had been diagnosed with a number of conditions that could have explained the pain sadly the pain did not diminish. Quite the contrary it had only seemed to exacerbate which lead to pain pills for pain management & a referral for exploratory surgery adhesions. I decided on Dr. Buonagura after reading a similar review. Five days after surgery completely pain pill free. She is wonderful!

Dr. Buonagura did an excellent job with removing a tumor from my daughters back. we had used Dr. Woodard the previous year, and was very disappointed with him. Dr. Buonagura is well worth the money. caring and understanding. She took her time to make sure it was done right, and my daughter woke up with no pain. Her recovery was alot shorter too, than the previous Dr.

I first had my experience with this wonderful dr when she practiced in Covington, la . Without going into great detail. She went above and beyond to try and save my mother who was my life even after the other doctors had no hope. Although in the end I still lost her I was giving an extra 3 months to say goodbye. I was so thankful Trust her she knows what she is doing. Would put my life on it.
