WOW !!! I can't help but wonder exactly what some people expect from a professional service and how frequently they complain about businesses that they request services from. The person that reviewed Dr Almerica's staff on 11-522 & judged Dr A's professionalism & competency based on their interactions with the receptionist presents as someone who would complain about everything & everyone in their life EXCEPT for their perfect self. I speak from my personal experience with Dr A & his staff and I tell you that his office, staff & services are exceptional. I had 3 services performed by Dr A (implants) & I would allow no other oral surgeon to work on my mouth. He is highly educated, extremely professional and caring & came highly recommended by other elite physicians that perform oral services. He educated me on everything that would take place in a caring & understandable manner & even STAT scheduled me when I thought there may be a problem (FYI - my dentist even commented on the incredible work that Dr A performed). In regards to his staff ( receptionists, radiologist and all staff that help to make the process complete, I cannot speak highly enough of them. They were always polite, professional & accommodating & even called me after my three surgeries to check and see how I was doing and if there's anything I needed. To me that's going above and beyond. I could go on and on but what I feel is important to say is that if you are in need of any oral surgery or FASC services, Dr Almerico is an excellent choice and I don't think anyone would be disappointed in choosing him except for the person with the negative comment. I have referred about five or six people there including family members and they have all been very pleased with his services and raved about him and his professionalism and ability to perform the work necessary to solve their Oral surgery needs. I hope I don't have to return to see him again for any oral surgery needs but in case I do I certainly would choose him again. PS - I have to say that he has dry humor but always makes it clear that you are the most important person at that moment when he was working with you and you will not be disappointed with the results. I recently had a dental implant put in place, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. I was pretty nervous beforehand, but Dr. Almerico and his staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. I didn't experience any complications after the procedure.

First, I’m terrified of Dentist!! Dr. Almerico was calming, very kind and so professional. He explained everything and I was able to have my procedure under sedation. His staff was also just as nice and professional. Don’t hesitate to see him with any problem you may have. I will definitely return if the need arises.

Epitome of an excellent surgeon and staff!! My 35 year old son is on the autism spectrum. They took the time to know my son and make him feel at ease, both the front office staff and the surgery team. This is by far the best experience we’ve had with a dentist. Dr. Almerico is an experienced surgeon, professional and skillful in removing impacted, partially erupted and erupted wisdom teeth. I highly recommend him and his team for oral surgery. Dr. Almerico and his team will provide you with a great experience.

Dr. Ben Almerico is no nonsense and an outstanding surgeon. HE was the only oral- maxillofacial surgeon on the North or South shore who called me back at 2:00am after our son had taken a brutal beating in New Orleans by thugs (who were never caught). Both jawbones were shattered and the emergency room that wired his teeth together did everything wrong. And I do mean everything. Ben Almerico met us in his office on a holiday morning and without staff examined him, stabilized the splayed jaw bones and got him into a proper surgery hospital. He repaired the incredible damage to bone and teeth. Titanium implants were used. He was 21 at that time and it is ten years later - no pain, no problems. Every dentist he sees in Houston area now is amazed! Thank you, Dr. Almerico.

Best oral surgeon and staff on the Northshore. I have had several successful procedures over the last handful of years and have brought my kids in for removal of their wisdom teeth. Very professional on every visit with personal follow up. I recommend them to anyone needing these types of procedures.
