Waited in the exam room for almost 1.5 hours!!! Then the appt. was rushed and very little was explained considering I was a new patient. And to top it off he leaves the exam room door wide open during the appt. I heard EVERYTHING while he visited with another patient. And then he proceeded to do the same for my appt. !!!

I had a very unsatisfying first visit!! I was trying to find a cardiologist since mine retired. BUT this appt. was extremely disappointing. First of all, I was shocked that he visits patients in exam rooms with the doors wide open!! I noticed the patient across from me had the door opened throughout his whole visit. I heard the whole visit!! He proceeded to do the same for my appt. !! Then, he spent very little time explaining my condition especially considering this was a first visit.

Does not listen. I went in with a paper listing concerns and other info and Dr Arena ignored it. I will be looking for another cardiologist

Dr. Arena cares about his patients and spends the extra time to ensure they get the very best treatment available. I can’t say enough good things about him. It is refreshing knowing that he looks out for your best interest. 5 STARS all the way!

He saved my husbands life after Mel dropped dead on our apartment floor. Mel was only 41 when he had a fatal arrhythmia. Dr. Arena put a stent in and a pace maker and Mel is still going strong today.
