Dr. David Vargas is an exceptional surgeon. If surgery is needed he will explain the procedure before hand. He will address your medical issues with professionalism. "5 STARS" for this doctor.

Dr. Vargas and his team treat the patient, not just the problem. He and his staff have the highest degree of professionalism, along with a genuinely caring bedside manner. I'm now 4 weeks post-op, and my recovery has caused me less pain than the diverticulitis that necessitated the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Vargas and his team.

I gave Dr. Vargas a poor rating due to the following 1) did not detect a hemorrhoid during colonoscopy which was present at base of anus, 2) had a visit with him a month later to confirm the hemorrhoids, which he did, then performed a hemorrhoid banding while still on the bed without any consultation. I had no idea what banding was. Had to do own research. From what I read this procedure should have been done after a cleaning process. Because this wasn't done I am now dealing with an infection.

Thanks to Dr. Vargas I am cancer free for 6 years .I had him for my doctor while he was in kentucky at Markey Cancer Center in 2010 .I will never be able to thank him enough he saved my life. I would recommend him to anyone. Great Doctor knows his stuff. Again thank you Doctor Vargas
