I had my sleeve done on Jan 13,2022. I have had zero issues with pain, nausea, constipation, anything that I have heard horror stories about. He was wonderful before surgery, wonderful after surgery. Made sure I was taken care of. I would recommend him to anyone thinking about doing weight loss surgery. He has absolutely amazing!!

Had major laparoscopic surgery for a large Hiatal Hernia. Perfect job. Smooth recovery. No pain,no infection. Extremely personable,nice and professional. Really can't say enough good things about Dr. Leithead.

ALTHOUGH I HAVEN'T HAD MY WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY YET, DR. LEITHEAD IS VERY COMPASSIONATE ABOUT MY OTHER HEALTH ISSUES AS WELL, I WISH THERE WERE MORE DOCTORS WHO TRULY CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS AS HE DOES. CONTINUE BEING YOU ??

Dr. Leithead is a great doctor; one you would want to have. He is very attentive and kind. Many times I came to the office and I was early and he seen me early. When I had my surgery, he called several times throughout the day to ensure I was doing fine and that I wasn’t in a lot of pain. When I went home, he checked on me for several days. The hospital where I had the surgery, Southern Surgical in Slidell, La, provide the best service. I am a nurse plus my daughter, She said she have never seen a hospital that provides service like that. She said, ‘Mom, you have an awesome doctor. When I had my surgery, everyone who was involved during the surgery, came out and spoke to my family. I couldn’t get a better doctor. Any problems I have, I can call and he responds right away. Dr. Leithead is absolutely one of the most efficient Doctors I have ever met, one of his first statements to me while looking me directly in my eyes was "You are the most important factor in this equation, you matter." Wow🙂 and he ment EVERY word. I was educated on the entire process as well as my family. My surgical scars look like scratches from a fine point pen😊. My attending nurses praised him to me as well as his colligues.This is the best Doctor you could have for your journey he won't leave you he walks with you professionally and gentily. Thank you Doc you are hands down the Best.
