I went to Dr. Rolling for a second opinion and I’m so glad I did. He was extremely knowledgeable and took his time explaining everything to me. I’m going to use him for shoulder surgery.
I "only" gave 5 stars since 6 or more was not available . In my soon the be 76 years I have NEVER been to a more caring doctor . Dr. Rolling went way above what would be considered a normal standard of care . He invested 45 minutes in my office visit . My second opinion visit elsewhere lasted 9 minutes . Not even close to being as good as Dr. Rolling . Doing PT now ....if surgery is needed later he will do it . THANK YOU ..Dr. Rolling !!
Straight shooter, explains the whole process and discusses alternatives and recovery procedures.
Best doctor I’ve ever seen
Terrible issue with ego. I have one leg an inch shorter than the other because of his arrogance. He told me that he could handle my case but his arrogance costs me my career and much more.
Dr. Rolling is the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I know. Feel free to ask as many questions as you need, for he will never make you feel dumb. He is very patient and makes sure to answer any questions you may have. He is super real, and will always tell you what he thinks the best decision is no matter what. Best doctor ever. Love love love him.
I injured my shoulder, and the first orthopedist I saw did a couple minute exam and then ordered an MRI. On my follow up to him, he spent no more than 10 minutes (if that long) in the room with me, pointed out a couple things on the MRI to me, said surgery was needed, asked if I had any questions then left. I had already started using a physical therapist by this point, and they recommended Dr. Rolling to me for a second opinion. SO glad they did! He not only ordered xrays of my shoulder, but my neck as well. He then spent about 40 minutes in the room with me. He did an EXTREMELY thorough exam, took the time to FULLY explain EVERYTHING to me including his findings from the exam, my MRI and X-ray results, and my options. He answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed and seemed genuinely concerned for my well being. I really liked that he looked beyond the shoulder. After seeing the neck xrays, he said there was an issue with my neck that was making things worse. (Something that my chiropractor and physical therapists had told me as well). He did not recommend surgery for my condition. When I thanked him for explaining everything so thoroughly to me, including what I should be doing instead of surgery, his response was that he thinks it's important to be that thorough because patients will have an easier time getting on board with doing what needs to be done if they fully understand what is going on and why it's so important they do it. Upon his recommendation of no surgery, I have continued with physical therapy and am doing much better. Needless to say I will not be going back to the first orthopedist and have scheduled a follow up with Dr. Rolling. I just loved, loved, loved him!

Dr. Rolling has been wonderful to my son in regards to his treatment!
Dr. Rolling was extremely patient with me when I broke my ankle in two places. He has a great patient/doctor manner and is willing to listen and spends as much time with his patient as needed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
