Dr. Lamartina is a very thorough, excellent doctor. He’s very professional and takes the time needed to figure out what’s going on. I had an unusual issue with my shoulder that he figured out in a timely manner and accurately diagnosed. He consulted with colleagues and arrived at exactly the right treatment (I was a rare, exceptional case). Highly recommend!

Dr. Joey LaMartina is that storied type of doctor you used to see on TV series, a physician who truly cares. And his surgical work is perfect. He goes the extra mile to make sure that what he has determined is the best way to treat you is what you get. He doesn't accept substitutes. As I was treated by Dr. Roch Hontas 20 years ago, I know that Bone and Joint Clinic is the top-rated orthopedic surgery in Louisiana. I feel so fortunate to have this level of care and expertise right here in St. Tammany.

Dr. Lamartina performed rotator cuff and labrum repair surgery. Outstanding job, great attention to detail, he literally is a perfectionist... ask all his nurses and surgical staff. great at explaining procedure and outlining rehab. Couldn't be more pleased.

Dr. Lamartina is a good Doctor however the cost of a visit is ridiculous. $1,100 for a routine steroid injection is robbery. It’s little wonder we have a “health care crisis” with medical bills like this.

Dr Lamartine is one of the best doctors I have been to in a while. He’s understanding, very knowledgeable, kind, answers every question I asked, takes his time with you. My husband also sees him for a different injury. We are very lucky to have him in our community of doctors.
