I almost always get severe nausea from anesthesia and pain meds used during surgery. I was able to speak with Dr. Spalitta prior to surgery, and he agreed that addition of phenergan to the list of meds was appropriate. Happy to say that with his care, I experienced zero nausea during recovery. Nausea under normal circumstances is uncomfortable. After surgery, it is terrible. So thankful to have gotten past that!!
