Dr. Sleeper and his staff have taken great care of me before, during, and after my surgery for prostate cancer. My surgery was a success and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. He has called to check on me on the weekends. I will never use another urologist and I highly recommend him.

I was rushed to the ER where i waa told i had an abcess in my kidney. I went into septic shock during the examination and he stented my kidney because of a stone as well. Dr.Sleeper saved my life and i am so so so grateful. Excellent bedside manner. I will never use anyone else .

I see why he has so many poor reviews. He’s incompetent. He made a mistake during my husbands vasectomy causing a hematoma the size of a grapefruit and told him “some people just heal differently.” He said swelling would go down in a week.. it’s been over two months and still isn’t healed. This issue is absolutely the doctor’s fault, it’s not just a random occurrence like they’re trying to claim. He refuses to take any accountability for it. When I called the day after leaving the ER the receptionist acted like she didn’t understand why I was calling. A second time calling I was put on hold for ten minutes. I finally hung up and called right back and they answered so they clearly forgot me on the line. Overall terrible experience. Find a better urologist. “ Hematomas tend to happen when physicians with no to limited experience perform the vasectomy (4.6% for physicians who do 1-10 vasectomies/year vs. 1.6% for 50 vasectomies/year). Overall hematoma incidence is 2%.”

I started using Dr. Sleeper after I was diagnosed with an elevated PSA. Dr. Sleeper, along with my MBP staff & Doctors guided me through the biopsy and treatment with the utmost respect and information. I was able to make an informed decision with Dr. Sleeper's help. The follow up treatment has been great and the staff has been some of the best I have had to deal with. I highly recommend Dr. J. Sleeper to anyone that has to deal with these types of medical treatments.
