Dr.Taranto is a great doctor! She never rushes me, takes time to listen to me. She truly has the best bedside manor:) right up there with the doctors of excellence! She is like lagniappe, she has that lil extra! Her staff is always cheerful, & quick to get you logged in. That is a bonus for them! & Me

My mother was in the ICU for days during the holiday with an "infection". Not a single doctor told me what happened nor did anyone respond to my requests despite my status as her power of attorney. I went to schedule a follow-up and got the run around from the appointment desk etc. This is not how seniors should be treated-- or anyone. I'm still waiting on someone to call me and tell me what happened and what she needs. My mother was put with an assistant (and given very little information about her situation). The doctor won't be taking patients according to the website for another 2 months yet she is "taking new patients".

Dr. Taranto took her time with me as a new patient. She thoroughly dived into my medical history. She also used the St. Tammany Physician's web site to review what the other St. Tammany doctors had on file. She communicated with me on the results of the blood work she ordered as soon as they were available. No other doctor has ever done that. I wanted a doctor who would partner with me on my health, and Dr. Taranto is that doctor.

Dr. Taranto always has a friendly and sympathetic attitude. She takes time explaining health concerns and never seems rushed. I highly recommend her!
