Because of Dr. Ferachi’s ill advised diagnosis and recommendation I now have permanent angina as a result of a stent placement done in a risky and unnecessary procedure.

Saw Dr Larry Ferachi on July 10 to obtain clearance for a procedure I was to have on July 16. He stated he had “no problem clearing” me for the procedure but wanted me to have some testing done, if possible before the procedure, which the cardiac Dept did not have the capacity for so I booked the testing on their availability. I gave Dr F the name and phone # of my PCP in case he wanted to discuss my case with her and the office that was responsible for the procedure faxed over the clearance form for him to sign. Assuming that it was a go I made all my arrangements to be at the center for the procedure at 5:30 am on July 16. At 2:30 pm on Wednesday, July 15 I received a call from the MA who works for the MD who was going to do the procedure that she had not received the clearance. I immediately called the cardiac Dept. Per the RN who called him, “ He had changed his mind” but didn’t have the courtesy to call me and discuss. Shame on him! Buyer beware. I reported him.........
