STPH!!!! You have a huge problem on your hands!!!!! And her name is Dr. Laura Roan!!!! I have never went to the ER and have my concerns completely ignored!!! And absolutely NOTHING checked!!!! I have NEVER dealt with a ER doctor so unprofessional, rude, horrible bedside manner, condescending, sarcastic and completely disregard all of my concerns!!!! AS SOON as she came into the room she had an attitude and made it seem like because I WAS NOT bleeding to death or almost dead then I WAS NOT worth listening to or helping!!! The discharge papers are proof for me DR.LAURA ROAN DID NOT listen to any of my concerns!! And now most of my concerns I had, while at the ER, are now GETTING WORSE!!!!! SO NOW WHAT?!?! I AM DISGUSTED!!!! Seriously, STPH, what do I do now that my concerns, your ER doctor dismissed, have gotten much worse?!?! REALLY WISH I DIDN’T HAVE TO EVEN LEAVE ONE STAR!!!!

As long as this Doctor works at the St. Tammany Parish Hosptal ER, I and my family will not go there! She blamed me for the blood pressure and heart rate issues I was having saying I was doing it to myself, then blamed it on a thyroid level that was high, (which my endocrinologist said would have had the reverse effect), and she told me not to come back if I had the same symptoms!!! I have been to a heart specialist since and learned I have a heart condition that can lead to heart failure. I was there for over 6 hours on a day that was not busy and no one kept me informed about what was going on. I could have died in my room and no one would have noticed. Dr. Roan is a terrible, arrogant, ignorant Doctor who is in the wrong profession. I love St Tammany Parish Hospital but not the ER especially with Doctors like this serving or rather dis-serving our community. Really, one star is too much for this rating. I would give her a -5 if I could.

Dr. Roan was excellent with me and my broken bone. She was kind and Explained everything thoroughly.

Dr. Roan is an excellent ER doctor! She was very thorough and explained everything more than once so I could understand. She sat down with me and explained what tests she would run and why, and then took time to explain all the findings and what we needed to do about them. She even took time to explain everything to my family.

The worst ER doctor I’ve ever seen. She is sarcastic, condescending and lies. Her bedside manner and professionalism is shockingly horrible. I have never encountered such a disgusting doctor. St. Tammany Parish Hospital should be ashamed for hiring such an inept doctor. Something really should be done about her and her non-existent medical knowledge. I’m still in shock.

She is the worst ER doctor I’ve ever had. The absolute worst. Her bedside manner and condescending attitude is beyond understanding. I left her ER after 4 hours of no care to go to another that admitted me with severe pancreatitis.
