Worst doctor visit EVER! After 8 days of excruciating Sciatica including visits to the ER, I thought I might finally get some relieve from the ADVANCED PAIN INSTITUTE. I knew my situation could not be resolved immediately but I certainly thought some pain relief could be given. NOT EVEN AN ASPIRIN was prescribed. However, I CANNIBIS could be prescribed but that would require another appointment of $200 since insurance would not cover it. I not only left the ADVANCED PAIN INSTITUTE in misery and out my visitation cost but I lost the opportunity to see another Neurologist who would at the very least have empathy with my persistent back and leg spasms. You can find a lot better options and I hope you don't have to go through the ordeal that I did.

Very professional and good bedside manner. Thankful I found such a good pain specialist who really listens and helps with the constant struggle I have with pain.

Dr. Elkersh was lacking empathy, definitely did NOT care at all about my pain issues and did NOT even keep eye contact as I explained my situation. He was preoccupied as he played on his computer. He lacks integrity, kindness and caring.
