Dr. Blanco is the specialist you hope to find when you learn for the first time you need a Pulmonary specialist and begin your search. While everyone of us gets to this path in different ways, mine was a CAT scan that raised questions, we now want answers. The skill, life time of experience, and knowledge Dr. Blanco brought to my issue and im sure all his patients is at work on the first meeting.... and the fact that he is caring and takes the time to explain was deeply appreciated.

My dad is in ICU and when I went to see him my brother said they were giving him Morphine. Dr. Blanco was coming in with more morphine and when I asked him why were they were giving him more morphine he looked at me and said why are you asking! Because I’m his daughter and have a RIGHT to ask!! Then when we asked about comfort care I wanted to include my brother who was not there so I put him on speaker phone so he could hear. Dr Blanco then made a rude comment how he is talking with a phone in his face! Excuse me doctor but my dad is ill and if you have a problem explaining to family members why you are giving certain medications and issues with answering important questions you should NOT be a doctor.

Went to see Dr. regarding long standing chest heaviness and more recent clavicle issues. Was told what it was, which was all I wanted from this appt. Doctor went on question me about other, completely unrelated things, going so far as to TELL me what my symptoms were, and not listening to what they really were (despite my repeated attempts to explain.) When I asked for more information regarding what the actual problem was that I was seeing him for, I didn't get much before he was back to making up things I wasn't even seeing him for and didn't authorize. A pill pusher who just wants to run up the bill and saddle people with bogus diagnoses and subsequent prescriptions they don't ask for or want.

I have been seeing Dr Blanco since 1999. He is caring and gentle. Soft spoken with a wealth of knowledge of up-to-date medicines and procedures available. His staff is also kind and caring. I have been blessed to have found this doctor in a sea of professionals. I recommend him to anyone who is interested in finding a long term incredible doctor.

Hi....I Absolutely would refer Dr. Blanco to anyone and everyone. He is so tremendously compassionate and has wonderful bedside manner. I went to him after a pulmonary embolism since I was very concerned about my recovering process and I did not have a pulmonary doctor. I made my appointment with Dr. Blanco and he was so caring and explained everything in great detail as well as his wonderful staff. I Thank God that he is my doctor. God Bless you Dr. Blanco!! Dr Blanco was my mothers Doctor . He was outstanding ,always caring and never in a hurry always had time for her and never give up. Although she was 96 he was always there to help and do the very best he could for her . He is one of the most caring and concerned Doctor we have ever had dealing with. We drove from Mississippi for her appointments .all the staff are just great.

Dr. Blanco is one of the few doctors in my husbands long life that he came home extolling his great experience with. Having worked for doctors most of my life its the wife who usually has to call behind her husband's back and give the details of what his problems really are. If a guys arm is falling off he will book and appt. for shoulder pain. Dr. Blanco gets to the real problem and covers all his concerns with his patient. Thank you, Anne Bass
