He was very professional and informative. Made the biopsy process so easy. Wish all doctors were like him!

My husband went to see Dr. Wardlaw for his stomach issues. He seemed very helpful and understanding during the early visits but it was always very short and in a hurry. My husband spent more time in the waiting room than seeing the doctor. This was all sadly acceptable until he changed his policies to no longer see his established patients in person. Instead he only offered phone calls as visits. My husband had “a phone call appointment “ with him just to find out the doctor never called him. My husband waited all day. Therefore, my husband called the office himself but the staff told him Dr. Wardlaw would call him. Frankly, the phone visits should not be acceptable at any doctor’s office, a doctor should see his patients, lay an eye on them and listen to their concerns , not brush them off with a phone call. Very disappointed with Dr. Wardlaw.

I’ve been a patient for years and he used to spend time with patients, explain things and care. Not anymore! He obtained an “I’m a doctor and better than you” mentality and no longer cares about his patients. He gets you in and out with doesn’t answer questions. He actually turned his back and walked out of the office on me. Unacceptable. I am switching doctors immediately if not sooner. I’ve also been hospitalized several times with diverticulitis and he never showed his face to visit me and discuss my infection status while I was in the hospital. He let the hospital subcontractor appointed physician assistant make all the calls. Sad.

Dr. Ward law was completely unprofessional and his bedside manner leaves MUCH to be desired. He was rude and short with the patient and his family. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

I have been going to doctor Wardlaw for years now. He takes his time and truly cares about you. His heart is in his work. When he explains things, he does does it in away you understand. I recommend him to everyone. Thank you Dr. Wardlaw.

Absolute Godsend. Dr. Wardlaw made me feel seen. I struggled for years with stomach issues, excruciating pain, etc., and he was the first doctor to tell me he would not give up on determining what was going on, regardless of how long it took. I left feeling genuinely comforted and hopeful because I felt I could finally trust that someone was in my corner. So incredibly grateful.

Initially, Dr. Wardlaw seemed nice and professional, but he is an excellent actor. I haven't seen Dr. Wardlaw since July of 2022, and I've been having some serious issues. It took over a month to get an appointment. I get a call at 10:07am on the day of the appointment. I was shocked at how rude his Office Manager was. She asked me if I could do a zoom call for my appointment. I told her that didn't work for me. Since I haven't had a bowel movement in over a month (even with the medication he's perscribed), I thought it pertinent that I see the doctor in person. She talked over me and when I was dumbfounded on how to respond, she started shouting "Hello! Are you there?" in such a rude and demeaning way. By the end of this short phone call, she was raising her voice telling me that she will let the doctor know that I am refusing the zoom appointment. Not knowing who I spoke to over the phone, I asked to speak with the office manager to discuss the unprofessional nature of the call. She was just as rude in person and told me that it was the doctor who didn't want to see me and she just conveyed the message, be sure to tell the doctor when he sees you. After waiting almost an hour past my appointment time (that I took off work early to be there for) he comes into the room. He talks so quickly and essentially trys to usher me out before I've even said a word. He tells me he will just give me some over the counter muralax and send me on my way. I try to explain the call with the office manager and he says, "I'll stop you right there. She's not just me office manager, she's my nurse..." and goes on to talk loudly at me far too close to my face about how since covid it's just better to see people over zoom. I dont know a single other doctor who would prefer to not see the patient in person. He tells me the only difference is there's no touch on zoom. I tell him that touch and a physical exam seems pretty important. He keeps talking over me and loudly. I've been in the room less than 5 minutes with him. I ask him to please stop talking so loudly and huffy and tries to end the appointment. I tell him it's not what she said that bothers me, but how she said it. He starts to try and talk loudly again about how he will schedule me again for zoom in two weeks. At this point I am crying. I dont deal well with confrontation. Through tears, I tell him I will just find a new doctor, no need to schedule me. He tries to shake my hand and says he hopes I'll reconsider. I pull away as I have issues with people touching me from past trauma. This is where the true Dr. Wardlaw comes to light. His smiling face immediately drops and he tells me how to get out and pay. I gather my things and grab a tissue, embarrassed to leave balling my eyes out. He stands by the door rushing me. As I am wiping my eyes, I tell him I'll be out when I'm done. It's been less than half a minute since he appointment. He tells me in a harsh tone and again far more loud than even remotely nessedary "I need this room for a zoom appointment." At this point I feel disgusted that this man is so heartless and treats his patients like cattle. I finally grow a spine andday, "Sounds like you're over-booked." He snaps and yells as I leave, "Find a new doctor!" I respond, "Gladly." The other staff were wonderful. I'm sorry they work for such terrible people.
