This physician was superb in all aspects. I was ecstatic to find he had knowledge of my not-so-common condition, and had actually treated other patients with it, previously. Plus, he entered the exam room with a bright smile on his face, and gave me a good, firm handshake -- something I have always relied on to gauge a person's integrity and demeanor, but which has all but disappeared due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He was upbeat in his conversation with me regarding the history of my condition, and discussed what his thoughts were on the matter, and made suggestions of what course we should take, going forward. His words and actions helped me feel confident that he was very knowledgeable and intelligent, as well as experienced, and allayed my concerns immediately. I look forward to working with this bright soul and, for once, don't feel "sick" anymore -- just unique, with a fairly uncommon condition. I believe his "can do" attitude played a huge part in that transformation, and it has even changed other aspects of my daily life, now. Ochsner is fortunate, indeed, to have such a gifted young cardiologist on staff. I wish him a long and prosperous career, and genuinely hope he stays here with Ochsner!
